Recently, I reviewed Perlier Shower & Body Cream Travel Set, a collection of luxury Italian bath and body products that I adored. So I jumped at the chance to try Perlier’s new Lemon Crackling Body Water that I got from iFabbo. When I received it, I put it right in the refrigerator!
This is a new type of product. Perlier Italian Sorbet Limone Refreshing Crackling Body Water is a cooling moisturizing clear gel that does look a little like lemon sorbet. You spray it on. It’s smells heavenly. And then it starts to crackle, like Pop Rocks. Very strange. Then, you rub it in and it moisturizes your skin and leaves behind a faint lemon scent. And the cooling sensation is wonderful on a humid day like today. I think it’s a great product for when you come home from the beach with tight dry skin, shower and want to apply a cooling moisturizer.
I guess it’s kind of a gimmick, but I like it. Especially the scent!
I think it would make a terrific hostess gift or gift of any sort during the summer season. It’s so novel and really fun to use.
