I lucked out again and received another luxury skincare product to try out via Influenster, the influencer network, in exchange for an honest review: Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus Sub D Neck.

I’m not sure when Cold Plasma Plus Sub D launched, but “Plus” is the newest version of the Cold Plasma Sub D Neck that came out a few years ago.

I have two neck creams that I already really like: StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck (now in Plus form that I haven’t tried yet) (original reviewed here) and PRAI Ageless Neck & Decolletage Cream (reviewed here), one rich and thick and the other lightweight and fluffy. Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus Sub D Neck fits right in between the two.

First, Cold Plasma Plus Sub D Neck is a scent-free, midweight white cream. Instead of switching back and forth between the thicker and thinner creams according to season or degree of dryness, this one I can use anytime. It is actually the perfect weight, fast absorbing, not greasy, yet very hydrating.

Cold Plasma Plus Sub D Neck is not only for the neck, it is also created for use along the jawline. You know that I am always looking for firming creams that can help keep jowls at bay for as long as possible.

Here’s how it’s described on the Perricone MD website:

Our iconic treatment for the neck and jawline is better than ever before. This multi-tasking powerhouse visibly sculpts, firms, tightens and contours the jawline and neck areas. Targets and improves the appearance of lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, sagging and crepiness, while smoothing skin and improving elasticity.

Here’s more:

  • Revolutionary, patented delivery system for optimal and unsurpassed benefits to the skin.
  • Delivers noticeable firming and toning benefits with DMAE.
  • Imparts a chiseled appearance with concentrated levels of caffeine.
  • Helps soothe and brighten dull, sagging skin with essential amino acids.
  • Shown to help reduce the appearance of a “double chin” and sagging skin under the jaw line.
  • Improves the appearance of wrinkles and redundant skin on the neck while providing essential hydration.

So, as I mentioned above, I’ve been using Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus Sub D Neck for just short of a month. I have only used about a quarter of the 2 ounce jar so far. I really like the way my skin feels. In terms of how it looks, I’m not sure because it is not like I wasn’t using neck and jawline firming cream beforehand. You can be sure I will finish up the jar.

Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus Sub D Neck is expensive. The 2 oz. jar is priced at $135, and the 4 oz. jar at $195 is a much better value. Rakuten is offering up to 19% cash back on the Perricone MD website right now, and Perricone MD often does have sales on their website. Plus Nordstrom is having a 25% off sale. It’s also sold at Ulta, Sephora, and just about all the major department stores. On sale would be the only way that I would be able to buy this product, especially these days. I’m glad that I have about another 3 months use left of this very nice firming cream. At that point, I’ll see whether it offers better neck and jawline firming than my previous faves.

Perricone MD skincare products are cruelty-free, parabens-free and talc-free.

Sounds wonderful wish that would show up at my door 🙂

    1. I know, Gloria. I am lucky, and I appreciate it. I would imagine that the beauty blogger gravy train may slow down with so many people staying home either voluntarily or not. As a matter of fact, I got 2 emails today from companies that are affiliates and a hat company that are both based in CA that are shutting down for now because they aren’t essential businesses. Our lives will certainly be altered by this experience. Stay well, and say hi when you get a chance. Being at home all day every day is tedious, but necessary. I just took a walk, and now I’m going to rake my yard. xo

  3. I just switched to a lot of Strivectin skincare for spring, so appreciate your thoughts on that and Perricone MD!

Expensive but the 4oz jar is a way better value! I haven’t gotten anything from Influenster in about a year. This sounds like a great cream.

  5. I don’t use a neck cream at the moment, I just bring my skin care down to my neck. However, I’m getting to an age where that alone isn’t working as well and would like to start adding in products targeted more towards the neck area. I could see this being a good product to try out and wish that they’d put it in a subscription box so I could try it!
