Hope you had a good Christmas in spite of the weirdness that is 2020, whether you got together with friends and/or family in person, via Zoom, or however you chose to spend it!
I decided to spend the entire day, just about, cooking. I lost sight of the fact that that meant standing on my feet for hours and hours. Even though it was just Jeff and me, I made French mushroom soup, Hungarian Paprikash (Goolash), roasted vegetables, and I made a Pavlova for dessert. I also made a loaf of cinnamon raisin swirl bread, and I put together the dough for a sourdough rye boule that is resting for a day or so in the refrigerator. I was so full after the rich cream soup and the Paprikash, that we decided to save the Pavlova for today. Fortunately, there are lots of leftovers, so no cooking today!

This was such a short and busy week that I lost track of the days. I thought that Christmas was on Thursday, and that today was Friday. So mixed up.
