PRAI Ageless Throat & Decolletage Cream, My New Fave Neck Cream!

I Bought This - Affiliate links

You may know that I was devoted to StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream. I have used up about four jars of the original rich and thick cream, one jar of the lighter gel version, and I’m almost done with the StriVectin Neck Serum that’s also a light gel applied with a cooling rollerball. I still have jar of StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream that I bought during a 50% off deal of the day at Ulta that’s waiting in the wings. I am a true fan!

This past August, I got to test Robin McGraw Revelation Firming Neck & Decollete Cream (reviewed here). I liked it. It was lightweight but hydrating. It was affordable, but with only 1 fl. oz. in the bottle, it didn’t last me that long. When my sister blogger, Cindy from Prime Beauty Blog, commented on my review, she raved about and strongly recommended that I try PRAI Ageless Throat & Decolletage Cream. I tucked that thought away in my mind, and continued with Robin McGraw Live Life Lifted Neck & Decollete Cream and with my StriVectin Neck Serum.

Probably it was an ad on Facebook, yet again, that caught my attention after the holidays. It was for PRAI Ageless Throat & Decolletage Cream, and it was on sale on HSN with free shipping. I remembered Cindy’s recommendation so I went to the HSN website to check it out. With the sale price, I thought I’d try it. Plus it was in what I thought was special holiday packaging with lots of sparkles, so I couldn’t pass it up. And when it arrived, the packaging didn’t disappoint!

Can you believe that bling? The design is called Troll Jeweled. I am so saving the jar after I use it up!

So I was immediately in love with the packaging, but what about the PRAI Throat & Decolletage Cream inside?

That is impressive as well. The cream is light and fluffy. In fact, it reminds me of The Humboldt Soap Company’s mousse-like Cremeplexion Moisturizer and their Body Mousse that I adore.

PRAI’s neck cream is also hydrating and comforting. It absorbs immediately, and it isn’t sticky. I love it. It feels so good on my throat and chest. What a change from the StriVectin TL Advanced Neck Cream that is so thick and rather difficult to apply because of that. I think I have found a new favorite neck cream!

It turns out that Throat & Decolletage Cream is PRAI’s #1 selling product, and I’m not surprised. It’s a delight!

Here are the key ingredients and what PRAI say they do:

  • “SEPILIFT DPHP™ to restore elasticity and support skin’s collagen
  • Mulberry, Saxifrage and Grapeseed Extracts combine in synergy to brighten and diminish discoloration and age spots
  • Shea Butter effectively hydrates, while providing a long-lasting barrier to lock in moisture
  • Vitamins A, E and F protect and rejuvenate
  • Precious PRAI Oil imparts smoothness and suppleness to the skin”
I have been using neck creams for a long time to keep my neck looking as youthful as I can as I get older. Firmness, elasticity and hydration are most important to me. After almost a month of use, PRAI Throat & Decolletage seems to be delivering on its promises, and it is a joy to use. I use it on my neck twice a day, applying it with upward strokes. At night, I also smooth some on to my chest. A little of this luxurious cream goes a long way.

I thought the sparkly jar that I bought was a holiday thing, but it turns out that they often do these sparkly, crystal-encrusted jars in a variety of motifs: flamingos, dogs, bunnies, flowers, cherry blossoms, horses, and more. If you’re not a glitter girl like me, there are plain jars as well.

PRAI Ageless Throat & Decolletage Cream comes in different sizes. I bought 200 ml/6.8 oz., regularly priced at $69.95, and I think I paid $49 for it on sale during the holidays on HSN. The product comes in a variety of sizes, starting with 1 oz. for $29.95 if you want to try it out before committing to a larger jar. The other sizes are 1.7 oz., 3.4 oz., 4 oz., and the largest 6.8 oz. The prices vary according to whether you buy a plain jar or a crystal-encrusted jar. There’s an option for everyone!

PRAI Throat & Decolletage Cream is sold on the PRAI website and on HSN. If you become a fan, there’s autodelivery on the PRAI website so you save 15%, and I think on HSN as well.

PRAI is a cruelty-free brand and Leaping Bunny Certified.

Like Cindy, I say this neck cream is definitely worth trying! I’m glad I did. Neck cream doesn’t have to be like spackle in order to work!

  1. This sounds really lovely and I will keep it on my list to try in the future! I also love the more budget-friendly price in comparison to StriVectin.

    1. Honestly, the PRAI Throat & Decolletage Cream is a real find. And yes, so much more affordable as well as easier to apply than my longtime fave StriVectin.

  2. The jar alone makes me want it! I love that it is thinner and easy to use– as opposed to StriVectin which is so thick! I want to try this cream! Thank you for the review, Allison!

    1. Isn’t the crystal encrusted jar so much fun?! I thought that the heavy cream was necessary for tightening the skin on my neck, but I was wrong. This lightweight, fluffy but very hydrating cream certainly does the trick!

  3. I would totally buy that for the packaging alone! I’m a sucker for sparkly packages!

  4. I have just started receiving neck creams from PR (guess my age is getting up there!). Do they really work, and are they really different from standard anti-aging creams? What are the ingredients to look for? This is all new to me!

    1. You can use whatever you like on your neck, but definitely use something. The neck has far fewer oil glands than your face, so you may wanted to use a richer moisturizer on your neck than you use on your face. At your age, making use your neck is moisturized is probably enough. As people get older, the skin on the neck loses elasticity so ingredients that encourage the production of collagen in older skin or ingredients that provide fullness or temporary tightening can make a difference. The StriVectin Roller Serum that I mentioned has a temporary tightener.

  5. That packaging is impressive! I am so pleased to hear it was a great product too. I have definitely reached an age where my neck and chest could benefit from a cream.

  6. Yay! I KNEW you would love it as much and I do Allison! The packaging is too-die-for and what’s inside is equally as impressive. I’m thrilled you like it!

    1. You seldom if ever steer me wrong, Cindy! love this stuff

  7. Ehmkay Nails says:

Yesss to the packaging and awesome that it works so well!

    1. For sure!!

  8. Thanks for the shout out in this review Allison. I must admit, the blingy jar is pretty cute! I wonder if I could keep Cremeplexion cost effective by using a cute jar like that or would people be willing to pay more for fancier packaging…hmmmm, may have to look into that. 🙂

    1. Hi Arice, I still haven’t done my Best of Skincare 2018 yet. Maybe I’ll work on it today. I am not sure what to say about spending the $ on super-fancy packaging like PRAI’s. They have a regular plain jar as well. I think the uncharge is at least $20 for the crystal-encrusted jar. I bought it because it was on sale at HSN and it was the largest size jar. Unless I decided to “collect” the jars, I don’t think I would spend the money after I bought one unless the design of the jar was special to me (cherry blossoms, looking at you!). I think I would rather pay $20 for Cremeplexion than $40, but that’s just me. However, ultimately I think your packaging for Humboldt Soap Company needs to be all of a piece to keep your branding consistent. The B&W label and stock jar for Cremeplexion and the gold-topped jar with a multicolored label for Body Mousse don’t look like they’re from the same brand. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re already working on that. xoxo

  9. ok so I clicked over to the website and saw pandas, YES, doggies OOOOH YEEEES, horses, YES, and then a POLAR BEAR. How fun!!

    1. dang, polar bear is sold out. *pouts*

      1. Oh boo, Shelley! The polar bear jar would have been perfect for Polarbelle. Maybe they’ll bring it back next winter??

  10. 25 Sweetpeas says:

    That jar is cute!

  11. The packaging is to die for! You know how much I love bling! That alone makes me want to try it!

    1. I don’t know if you’ve reached the neck cream stage yet, but definitely put this on your list to try in a few years!

  12. I haven’t really thought about neck creams but I know I’m getting up there in age and need to pay attention to all my skin! Thanks for the great review!

  13. That packaging is so extra 😀
