It’s the last shopping weekend before Christmas. Who still has more shopping to go?
Sadly, my cousin’s wife who is an ICU nurse at a big hospital in Boston was kindly having her Jewish in-laws at her home for Christmas. But with COVID on the rise and her ICU unit filled with very sick patients, she decided that it wasn’t such a good idea to have a big gathering this year. So dinner was cancelled. Wouldn’t you know I did my holiday gift and Yankee swap shopping early this year?! I will put them in the closet and hope that next year we can get together again.
