It’s not Valentine’s Day, but I sure love anything heart-shaped. And I’m one of those people who likes bar soap in addition to shower gel.
Pre de Provence Natural Soap
For the last night of Hanukkah, Jeff gave me a bar of Pre de Provence heart shaped soap. It’s called Tea Rose, and it smells lightly of rose scent.
This is one big bar of soap! 7.05 oz. or a half pound in weight. In fact, four months later, I still have a lot of soap left. I would say it is equivalent to at least two bars of soap.
Pre de Provence is made with shea butter and has a rich, creamy lather. It leaves my skin feeling soft and lightly moisturized.
The heart shaped soap collection also comes in Lavender and Camellia, if Rose isn’t your thing. It’s sold on Amazon, and the Tea Rose soap is priced at $12.99. A luxury soap, it’s made in France.
Heart Shaped Marble Soap Dish
Not long after Jeff gave me the Pre de Provence Heart Shaped Soap, we were browsing in a home decor boutique in Salem MA. They were selling a 4.5″ x 4.5″ white marble heart shaped soap dish that was perfect to fit my soap. It was just before Valentine’s Day, so Jeff bought it for me
I don’t remember the name of the store, but I found the soap dish online. It was priced at $10, also the price in-store. The website, Burke Decor, however, says it ships in 18-20 weeks!! But according to Google, there are other sites that carry similar marble soap dishes of a similar size.
So if you’re a heart fan like I am or you know someone who is (an extra treat for Mother’s Day?), the Pre de Provence Heart Shaped Soap and the marble soap dish make a nice gift.
