I just bought a new pair of pink platform sandals on sale at Saks Off 5th. Even though it is still a bit too cold to wear them here north of Boston, I wanted to get my feet sandals ready. It was a great opportunity to try out my new pedi set, Footnanny. (Every time I think of the name, Footnanny, I think about the old word hootenanny. Anyone remember that?)

Footnanny is a brand of foot wellness and self-care products. The company sent me a handy-dandy pedi set that has everything to get your feet in summer-ready shape except the nail polish.
The kit I received contained:
- an orange massage ball with soft teeth to roll under your feet to relax them
- a dry foot buffer to remove dead skin
- Lavender foot cream to soften your feet
- socks to wear after you’ve gotten your feet buffed and softened.
The orange spiked ball feels really good when I roll it around under my feet. Very relaxing, though not quite as good as a foot massage, lol.
The Rescue Buffer really amazed me. I usually use my battery operated sanding device, the Amope, to remove the dead skin from my feet. I didn’t think that the buffer could do as well as the Amope, but it definitely did. My feet were very soft and smooth after the buffing, and it was so easy to use.
Today I took a 5 mile walk with a friend. So after buffing my feet, I took a shower. Then I applied the Lavender foot cream that smells like lavender vanilla to me, and I let it soak in. I put on the socks for 30 minutes so my feet could absorb the cream. The socks and my feet were both nice and soft! Tonight before bed, I will put on some more foot cream and then wear the socks to bed for a real deep softening treatment.
I wanted to find out more about the Footnanny brand and its origins so I headed to the Footnanny website. I read a little bit about Gloria Williams, the founder and CEO of Footnanny. She got her start as a girl watching her mother in Montgomery, Alabama give sick or elderly friends, neighbors and family members “rub downs” with handmade creams, ointments and oils crafted from certain foods, oils and teas that her mother believed had medicinal qualities. Years later, Gloria followed her mother’s traditions, and from her healing recipes, she created a line of aromatherapy foot products that became Footnanny.
While perusing the Footnanny website, I discovered that the Footnanny kit is a 3 step kit with the dry buffer, a 2 oz. jar of foot cream and cotton socks, priced at $50. In addition to the Lavender foot cream that I have, there are many kits to choose from with creams of different scents/ingredients, e.g. chocolate, eucalyptus, tea tree, peppermint, rice oil, banana, and lots of others. There’s an unscented cream as well. You can buy the 29 different foot creams separately in 8 fl. oz. tubs as well as soaking salts in different scents. There are also men’s and children’s products. There is a kit for diabetics. The massaging foot ball that I received is sold separately. You can also buy essential oils on the website.
I believe that Footnanny has been promoted by Oprah, since Oprah is mentioned several times on the Footnanny website. In fact, I discovered that the Footnanny Rose Gift Set (sold on Amazon) with Rose Foot Cream, Rose Lime Soaking Salts, Dry Buffer, and Socks was one of Oprah’s Favorite Things for 2016. Also, if you use the code OPRAH when you place an order on the Footnanny website, you can get a surprise discount. There are two additional Footnanny sets sold on Bed Bath & Beyond’s website. You can even buy the Footnanny Rescue Buffer on HSN.
The Footnanny Kit is a terrific way to practice self-care at home if you haven’t returned to the salon or spa for pedicures or if you prefer to care for your feet yourself. It is relaxing and pampering. Although it’s last minute, it would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift for the mom who is always on her feet! Check out the Footnanny Mother’s Day Gift Set on Amazon with 3 different foot creams, 3 pairs of socks and a buffer.

The Footnanny products are terrific. What a good surprise! A dry buffer that works as well as my Amope is amazing!
That sounds so relaxing! I need!
Oh how I wish that was in my budget!
I was honestly shocked when I discovered how good the dry buffer is at removing calluses and dead skin. And the foot cream is divine. The sets are $50 and include the buffer, a 2 oz. size foot cream, and the socks. Just for the heck of it, it might be worth it to go to the website and put in the code OPRAH to see what kind of discount you could get. Separately, the buffer is $15 on HSN (I couldn’t find it on the Footnanny website on its own), but if you have your own effective buffer or Amope, you don’t need it. The 8 oz. tub of foot cream will literally last a year, so if the OPRAH discount were say 20% off, it would be worth it. But yes, I hear you. My budget has been sorely stretched especially with tax day looming on May 17!!
Splurging on Glam Bag x was my last treat for a while. I’m tightening my luxury belt for a few months. *sigh*
I absolutely get it! BTW, did your Glam Bag X arrive yet?
Not yet, but it’s on its way. I’m told I really lucked out. Not very many people got the Magic Cream or the lighted mirror, apparently.
OMG, I didn’t know you got a lighted makeup mirror too! Woohoo! I have been thinking about buying one, one of these days. You’ll have to let me know how you like it and what brand it is. So glad you got the CT Magic Cream. I still haven’t tried it but have been curious about it. I’m so glad Ipsy took good care of you with the May X bag. After they screwed up last month (and I think a few other months too?), you really deserve it!
It’s a mini travel-sized mirror, but it lights up and has three settings. I’m excited as heck! Believe me, there will be pictures the minute it gets here!
Awesome! It was a travel size lighted mirror that I was considering. I don’t like big mirrors. Psyched to see your pix when the bag arrives!!

So happy to read that there are scents beside lavender. That intriques me.
Footnanny has unscented foot cream as well!
This sounds amazing. I need this in my life too, especially as summer hits!
That foot creme sounds lovely!
