I’m a fan of Gabriel Organics. Last year, I reviewed one of the lipsticks and the fabulous Zuzu Luxe Peepshow Palette that amped up my holiday looks! I love the fact that I can use their wonderful makeup products without any concerns. So I was happy that they sent me one of their skincare products to try: Gabriel Organics Seaweed Hydrating Mask.
I’ve been using this mask for several months, and it has become one of my absolute favorites. This winter my skin has been dry as a bone and stressed out from the frigid, windy cold weather we’ve been having in New England. All those hours spent outside shoveling has taken its toll on my skin.
Gabriel Organics Seaweed Hydrating Mask is a clear gel that packed with amazing ingredients such as blue green algae, amino acids, spirulina, and sea fennel to hydrate parched skin. But this mask is good for all skin types, not just desert-dry skin like mine. It also contains vitamin E and aloe vera to soothe and heal skin irritation, so it’s a great product to use after sun exposure or after skiing.
I apply this clear gel mask with my fingers to my clean skin, and leave it on at least 15 minutes. It dries after a few minutes, but it doesn’t feel tight like a cleansing mask can. It actually makes my skin feel protected and hydrated while it’s on my face as well as after I remove it with warm water. I just tried a similar mask for review, but that mask sank in and made my face feel very dry instead of hydrated. Not so with Gabriel Organics Seaweed Hydrating Mask. And I love that I can use this gentle mask as often as I like.
Gabriel Cosmetics Seaweed Hydrating Mask is priced at $24.95 and it’s available on the Gabriel Cosmetics website and on Amazon as well as other sites. It contains 4 oz./120 ml – a big, long-lasting tube. It’s vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. Made in the U.S.
Have you tried any of the Gabriel Cosmetics makeup or skincare products yet?

Seaweed masks work wonders for my skin. Thanks for sharing!!
Glad seaweed works for you too, Anastasia!
I haven’t tried anything from Gabriel Cosmetics yet but blue green algae, amino acids, spirulina, and sea fennel are a great combination! I’ve tried algae-based skincare before and it has worked for me.

I’m glad to hear those ocean ingredients work for you too!
Fabulous review, Allison! If this mask has been doing amazing things for your skin during a New England winter, then I can only imagine what it would do for people (like me 🙂 in less harsh climates! This goes on my list, thanks! 🙂

This sounds luxurious, seaweed is supposed to to be really good for the skin! It’s decently priced too. I also like the look you did with that palette 🙂

I’ve been lazy and not using masks as much as I should, this one sounds great!

I really like it a lot, and at the price, it’s well worth it. I like it better than similar more expensive Asian gel masks!
I’ve been eating spirulina lately, but I haven’t tried it in a mask! Sounds really good, and if it works on your dry skin with the weather you’ve been having, I know it’s a winner!

Oh! In what form do you eat it? Is it a cereal? This really is a gentle but hydrating mask that’s just perfect for me 🙂
I’ve never tried anything from this brand, but I’ll have to remember to look into them! I love that its good for you and affordable!

I’ve liked everything I’m tried so far from Gabriel Cosmetics!
This mask sounds lovely! I recently tried a “hydrating” mask from Glam Glow and it burned the heck out of my face and wasn’t hydrating at all. I will definitely add this one to my wish list!

I definitely think it’s worth trying, Julie. I find it very gentle and definitely hydrating. I just tried another more expensive hydrating gel mask and the Gabriel Cosmetics mask was superior by far!
Oh, I love seaweed masks! Does this one have a scent? I know the seaweed powder masks smell like.. well.. the ocean lol So it would be nice to try one that’s unscented. lol 🙂

This one is essentially unscented, Vivienne. Clear gel, no scent. It is very nice!
I’ve never needed masks more than I have this winter. This sounds like a good, reasonably priced one too.
It is priced-well, and I love that I can buy Gabriel Cosmetics at Whole Foods. This mask is very hydrating. I love it
I love that this is cruelty free and vegan! Thanks so much for telling me about it!
I think you would like their entire line!
I have heard of this brand and I believe seen it in rotation for an Ipsy box but I can’t remember. This sounds pretty cool… and the price is great.
Really? I haven’t seen Gabriel Cosmetics in any of my ipsy bags, but it’s possible. I love that Gabriel products are sold at Whole Foods so I can pick them up at the store when I’m shopping 🙂
You had me at hydrating mask, but seaweed makes this sound extra interesting!
It’s a really great mask, Bailey, if you prefer natural/organic skincare and want a gentle, hydrating mask. I love it!
It sounds decent enough 😀
For me, it’s way more than decent, lol. I’ve had such good luck with it. So gentle, so moisturizing 🙂
I recently purchased a Gabriel foundation ( haven’t tried it yet) but I am eager to explore their line.

I have one of the Gabriel liquid foundations and I like it a lot. I haven’t used it recently so thanks for reminding me about it!
