Derma E Vitamin C No Dark Circles Eye Cream is a brightening eye cream. First, it brightens dark circles with its light reflecting particles that make the under eye area look lighter and brighter. It reminds me of my former favorite brightening eye cream from Shiseido that was discontinued a few years ago.
Here’s Derma E’s description of the product:
This Vitamin C eye cream is infused with antioxidant-rich Vitamin C, brightening Turmeric, Mica, and de-puffing Caffeine to instantly color-correct for brighter eyes.
In addition, Derma E Vitamin C Eye Cream also addresses:
- dull skin
- discoloration and uneven skin tone
- fine lines and wrinkles
- loss of firmness and elasticity.
I’ll start by saying I like this eye cream, and I find it effective as an instant under eye brightener. It also hydrates the under eye area as well as helps make crow’s feet less noticeable.
I’ve been using this product for about three weeks, and I can’t say it has diminished my crow’s feet or the fine lines below my eyes, but I really didn’t expect it to have that kind of effect in such a short period of time. I do not use it for loss of firmness: for that, I use City Beauty Lid Lifting Eye Treatment.
Derma E Vitamin C No Dark Circles Eye Cream is an off-white, somewhat golden (due to the turmeric) lightweight cream-lotion hybrid with visible luster from the mica in the formula. Although it may not completely replace the need for under eye concealer, it does make a visible difference for me.
In spite of the fact that I like it as an eye brightener, I wish I could ask Derma E to make a couple of small tweaks. Since the consistency of this brightener is a lotiony-cream, a little goes a very long way. Unfortunately, the hole in the slanted applicator tube is waaaaay too big IMHO, and it is very difficult to control the amount of eye cream that comes out of the tube.
Too much comes out, no matter how careful I am as I gently squeeze the tube. As a result, I end up applying too much eye cream so that it shows or instead I apply the product all around my eye area. I wish they would make either a much smaller hole or use a long thin tube at the end (see below).
Secondly, the somewhat runny lotiony-cream sometimes separates a little in the tube, so I usually give it a shake before I use it.
Regardless of these two nitpicks, I still like Derma E Vitamin C No Dark Circles Eye Cream for brightening my dark circles.

Thanks for the tips! This is the kind of info you really need to have when trying a new product!
Normally I don’t have dark circles but since I’ve been sick they have appeared. It would be nice to have this on hand.
Oh, no, Cindy! I’m sorry to hear that you have been sick – in addition to your hand surgery? I hope you’re on the mend at this point.
I absolutely LOVE this eye cream! As you know, their Vitamin C collection is my favorite! Excellent tips to get the most out of this wonderful product, Allison! <3
I agree, most of the Derma E Vit C products are my favorites too, although I also love the CBD collection 🙂
Ooh, that was my first thought too! For a tinted product, that opening is just too big. They really need to make that smaller.
Glamorable recently posted…(21+) Be Your Own Valentine in 2022!
I wish I had a specific contact at Derma E to suggest it to them. I always get waaaaay too much out of that hole
Sounds like it’s got all the right stuff to it! I like using these types of products so I can use less concealer in general! I agree with you the pointed smaller tip would be a better choice for dispensing it
Thanks for agreeing with me on my Derma E Vit C eye cream applicator changes!
It would be great if Derma E took your suggestion because the eye brightening and Vitamin C seem terrific.
I wish I had someone at Derma E to suggest changing the applicator or at least the hole to!
