I love pink nude shades. I have about a million of them. But Milani’s Color Statement Nail Lacquer in Pink Beige is my favorite one. After wearing red or green or gold during December, I was ready for a palate cleanser, a return to one of my favorite pastels, Pink Beige.
Back in the summer, I did a “Fairy Princess” mani using a sheer pink with gold glitter applied with a stipple brush. Today’s mani is similar but different. I used two coats of Milani’s Pink Beige, a pink nude cream, as the base on top of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Smooth & Strong base coat. Next, I used a toothpick to apply Nicole by OPI Guys & Galaxies, a silver glitter topper that I got in my November ipsy bag, along the moons of my nails. And I finished with a topcoat of New York Color NYC Grand Central Station, the inexpensive fast-drying topcoat that I love.
I think it is delicate and very pretty. Perfect for January!
Here it is under warm indoor light:

What’s on your nails today?
So pretty that I had to pin it!!
Thank you, Laura, for pinning it!! I love this mani too <3
I do love that milani pink beige nail color .. and the silver sparkles add a nice touch. I’m not a huge fan of the Nicole OPI polishes due to the bottles .. they are difficult to store due to the odd shape. Although I do own one Nicole OPI . called “Love your life” .. it’s that glitter polish with the cute hearts (which I’ll be wearing soon!!).
Monica.

I think I saw you wearing the Milani Pink Beige polish in a photo, and you reminded me of how much I like this shade. Yes, the Nicole by OPI bottle shape is a pain. I received it in my November ipsy bag and it came in a box, so I leave it in the box since it’s easier to store that way 😉
I love adding a hint of glitter to anything an everything!

I think it’s a very pretty mani, but I have no talent when it comes to nail art. So only the easiest of manis for me, lol 😉
You keep saying that, but your manis are amazing!

You are too kind!
So pretty! I love glitter toppers. Although, I would have never thought of using a toothpick or a stippling brush for application. Thanks for the tips & inspiration. 🙂
The toothpick is especially easy to use. Thanks for your comment, Natalie, and I’m glad the ideas were helpful 🙂
That is gorgeous, Pink Beige is also one of my favorites, it’s just makes me think of lovely

Oh, boo!
Pink Beige is pretty! Today I’m sporting A England Crown of Thistles, but I’m wondering if I should change it or just slap on another coat, as it got rather beat up today at work. :/
You know what…salvage, I think. I still have to work this weekend! lol
Definitely salvage! A Crown of Thistles is so pretty it would be a shame to take it off. Sorry to hear you’re working this weekend, but I guess that’s when museums get most of their visitors, right?
I love pink glitter gradients!

I love manis like these
Yep, definitely get more activity on the weekends. Today was slow. I packed away the remainder of the holiday stuff from the gift shop, and changed the lecture announcement on our sign by the road. And this is how the aforementioned nail beating happened. That darn signboard is useful, I’ll give it that, but it sure is death on manicures!
I love the combo!

My fave Milani Pink Beige 🙂
I love adding a little glitter to the nail at the top – very unexpected look, and soft and pretty! I’ve been working on Valentines’ Day nail art today, so I’m rocking pinks, reds, and purples!
