Project Pan 2024 June/July Beauty Empties

Though I still haven’t posted my May empties because my website went down in early June, I thought I would do both June and July together while they are fresh in my mind. I’ll do May empties later on.

Here’s what I’ve used up this summer.

Bath & Body

  • Celestial Body Moon Bath: My friend gave me this mildly fragrant, shimmery, light oil last year for my birthday. I was saving it for special occasions, but then I realized how dumb that was, and I started using it whenever! The scent was powdery and delightful, but sadly, it disappeared quickly. The shimmer was subtle so that even I could wear it. The oil was very lightweight and not greasy; however, it was hydrating enough for my dry skin. I could see how a younger person would love Celestial Body Moon Bath. Recommend? Yes, makes a great gift or personal treat for someone younger or with more hydrated skin than I.
  • Farmhouse Fresh Velvet Moon Dip Back to Youth Ageless Body Mousse: Wow that long product name certainly is a mouthful! This was either the second or third jar of Moon Dip that I have used. It has a lovely soft scent that’s difficult to describe, though it isn’t long lasting. The fluffy, mousse consistency is fabulous. Recommend? Yes, for a person without my super dry skin.
  • Korres Elasti-Smooth Body Butter: I liked this Korres Elasti-Smooth Body Butter. For me, it provided temporary skin plumping that helped my very dry skin look smoother. Recommend? Yes, for those who would be satisfied with a temporary skin fix.
  • Kiss My Face Liquid Rock Roll-On Deodorant: I really, really liked this non-aluminum containing, fragrance-free, natural deodorant. I bought another one. Recommend? Yes!

Skincare

  • Strawberry Moon Moisturizer: I loved this hydrating but lightweight moisturizer so much, I bought another one. Perfect for dry skin during hot weather! Recommend? Yes!!
  • IT Cosmetics Confidence In An Eye Cream: Not sure if this is the fourth or fifth, probably fifth jar of this eye cream that I have finished. Recommend? Yes, I have two more waiting in the wings.
  • The (pH)ix (pH)iller Peptide Serum: I’m sad that I have finished this wonderful peptide serum already. If I didn’t have to pay my property taxes, my IT consultant, and the painter and wallpaper person, I would buy another one. But it will have to wait. Recommend? Yes, it’s a lovely serum: creamy but still lightweight, hydrating.
  • City Beauty Advanced Action Sculpting Cream: This new version of City Beauty AASC is even better than the original for firming. Recommend? Yes.
  • City Beauty Line Therapy: Line Therapy is a new lip treatment product from City Beauty that was launched just when my website went down. I will review it either later this week or next.

Hair Products

  • Milk Shake Insta.Lotion: Insta.Lotion is such a cool conditioner and so unique! It has the consistency of water. And it smells like peaches! Leave it on your hair for about a minute, and come it through with fingers or a comb. That’s it! Recommend? Yes, it is terrific!
  • Vegamour GRO+ Serum: I’ve been using Vegamour GRO+ Serum for 2 years! It does work for me. I told another brand that I would try their hair growth serum, and I am nervous about it. But I will give it a try. However, I am waiting for a new advanced GRO+ Serum from Vegamour as well. I’ll keep you posted! Recommend? Vegamour serum has worked for me so that the patches that were thinning and receding are looking better. But everyone who has hair loss is different, so I hesitate to recommend you sign up since it is a commitment!
  • DefenAge 150K Hair Follicle Serum: I went for at least 6 weeks without using DefenAge 150K Hair Follicle Serum. I will start again with the next applicator tube. I find that my hair seems to grow a little bit faster or more when I use the DefenAge along with Vegamour. Recommend? Again, I’m on the fence about recommending or not because everyone’s hair growth is so different.

Nail Products

  • Olive & June Long-Lasting Super Glossy Top Coat: I adore the O&J Glossy Topcoat. Using it as directed, my polish lasts at least a week. Love this stuff! Recommend? Strongly, yes!
  • DefenAge 360-Rejuvenation Nail Root Serum: For me, this incredible nail serum is a must-have for winter! Recommend? I strongly recommend DefenAge is your nails break or don’t growth in the cold winter weather.

Health & Beauty

  • Everyone by EO Aromatherapy Singles, Peppermint Essential Oil: To be honest, I primarily used this natural peppermint essential oil to deter chipmunks from digging holes in my backyard lawn where I put down slate tiles. It definitely worked. And a few weeks after I finished up this bottle of peppermint oil, the chipmunks returned again and started digging. I must buy more! Recommend? Certainly, especially if you have chipmunks!
  • Just CBD Calm 1000mg Gummy Bears CBD: Until I noticed that I was supposed to take 4 gummies at night when I go to sleep, my jar used to last until my next subscription mailing. But not so much now! I am usually short about a week or so. Oh well, I’ll live. Recommend? Yes. Yummy! And relaxing.

Final Thoughts

I used up 16 products during the months of June and July. And I liked all of them including the new products. I still have to review my May empties. But nevertheless, at this point, I have used up 61 beauty products.

How about you? Did you use up any products that you really liked?

    Thanks for all these recommendations!

  2. Wow, Allison– this is impressive! I haven’t used anything from FHF in so long! Finishing 16 products is excellent!

    1. Thank you xoxo

  3. Hi, Allison – I really enjoyed this run-through on your experience with all these products. I got a big kick out of the story about peppermint oil repelling chipmunks. Lol! We need something for squirrels because they eat all of our tomato plants and then we don’t get any. My Confidence in an eye cream has been lasting a long time, but I don’t normally apply it to my eyelids. They get oily on their own for some reason. Even though my skin is dry, it gets shiny. I just don’t understand??? I really liked the Estee Lauder gentle makeup remover. I just used it up and want to find a sale so I can get more. The only problem with it is that it has an open top and I spilled it a couple of times…Well, thank you for this wealth of information! – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

    1. You can try the peppermint oil on your squirrels, or plant mint next to the tomatoes! Most people have oily eyelids. I am one of the few who doesn’t! I haven’t tried EL makeup remover, but I noticed that Walmart.com is advertising it for $13.80. And someone on Ebay has two bottles for $19.99, just in case.
