When I first moved into my house thirteen years ago, my Aunt Flo brought me a unique gift. Toilet tissue color-coordinated with each of my bathrooms! Blue for my master bath and peach to coordinate with my two other bathrooms. Although I thought it was cool to have the tissue “blend in” with my decor, the tissue was so thin you had to use a ton of it. And from what I understand, the dyes that make the color are bad for the environment. I bought them for several years, but they were eventually discontinued. Probably all for the best. I saved part of one of the peach rolls as a “collector’s item”, lol.
After that, I really upped my game. I decided to “go big”. I went to Costco, and the choices were limited to three brands: the thin tissue brand I had been using but in white, the Costco private label brand, and Charmin. I chose Charmin. What a huge difference between the brand I had been using and also a huge difference from a couple of other brands I had tried from the supermarket! Once you buy Charmin, you don’t go back.
So when I was offered a chance to receive a package of Charmin Ultra Soft from the folks at Charmin’/Procter & Gamble, I was delighted. 😀 Charmin was already my brand of choice. Why not help spread the word! And Charmin Ultra Soft has the cute bears in their advertising, right?
Charmin Ultra Soft is indeed the softest tissue I’ve tried. And it’s plenty strong too. Amazing how much less toilet tissue I buy now that I’m using a high quality brand! Plus, these are Mega rolls, equivalent to 4 regular sized rolls. Say what?I I am eager to find out how long one roll will last.

These sound really soft. I had the misfortune to buy an Asda (UK supermarket) brand while at Uni- I didn’t know the local brands- and it was beyond sandpapery.

With a coupon and shopping the sales or at Costco, Charmin actually comes pretty close in price to the bargain brands and the difference in quality is night and day

You are welcome! I noticed it in the Coscto coupon book and I think it’s good till 1/25. And usually you don’t even have to have the Costco coupon with you to get the discount.
Gotta have the strong stuff… you def get what you pay for. Buy good or suffer.

I agree about how easy it is to find. The colored tissue I used to buy required a trip to a specific store, and it wasn’t always in stock. Charmin is ubiquitous. Print out the coupon for when you need to restock!
My grandma used to have peach toilet paper in her bathroom too! That was the one big change I had to make when I met my husband. He refuses to let me buy cheap toilet paper. He needs the softness on his booty! lol

oh, wow, the color-coordinated toilet paper is a hoot! I can’t stand using cheap paper products – no cheap tissues, paper towels, or toilet paper, especially. My delicate tushie needs the good stuff. Charmin fits the bill!
