For the New Year last January 2013, I made a couple of beauty and health resolutions to go along with my new blog. I regret to say that I didn’t keep them. 🙁 The health-related resolution was to drink more water. I try, but I still don’t get close to 8 glasses a day. And the beauty resolution was to exfoliate on a regular basis. While I do it from time to time, I would be lying if I said I did it every week. I dislike the gritty feel of many exfoliating masks, so I have to push myself to do it. At this time of year, after a few weeks of partying, lots of cooking and running around, and being exposed to the cold dry weather, my skin looks tired. It could sure use a boost.
Enter Radical Skincare Instant Revitalizing Mask, a mask “for dull, out-of-breath skin”. OMG, the scent of this mask — oranges — is so incredible that I want to use it every day instead of twice a week, as recommended! It’s like applying orange juice directly to your skin. Love it!
Radical Skincare Instant Revitalizing Mask comes in a pump that helps maintain the efficacy of the ingredients, plus it makes the mask easier to apply. It takes only about 2-3 pumps to cover my entire face. Honestly, because of that heavenly orange scent, I could just keep on pumping!
It goes on a milky color and consistency (smooth; there’s no grit!). After a minute or so, it bubbles up, and then it just dissolves and DISAPPEARS!
The copy on the box says:
- Boost skin’s radiance with effervescent bubbles
- Hydrate and nourish hungry skin with vitamins and oxygen
- Soft, smooth, glowing skin in minutes!

The instructions say to leave the mask on for 3-5 minutes, and then rinse off with warm water. Voila! Done! That’s all there is to it except for applying my serum and moisturizer.
The mask “refreshes, invigorates and restores radiance”. It does make my skin look less tired and dull. It definitely glows after I use it. And another key feature is how easy this mask is to use. Not messy, not gritty, and very quick.

Great concept! I sometimes don’t do masks because they take a long time to dry. This fizzing mask looks fun and easy to use.
