As usual, I told myself no more shopping. But the ad for 50% off at Ann Taylor turned my head. And they carry petite sizes. So I couldn’t resist the sparkly sequined Pewter top with three-quarter sleeves (the website erroneously calls it “long sleeved” though it clearly isn’t).
The color is great, kind of a cross between silver and grey.
The fit is perfect. The price ended up being around $34. Another thing I like about it is that it can be dressed down and worn with grey jeans like the model is wearing. So I really don’t have to wait for a really special occasion to wear it.
Glad I pounced when I did because the petite medium size is sold out now and the regular size only has small sizes left. Now the question is, will this sit in my closet till next New Year’s Eve? Probably.
Nevertheless, check out the sale. It’s worth a look. Even if you’re not in the market for sequins, there are plenty of other options on sale.
