There have been a million pre-Black Friday sales going on, but 40% off gets my attention!

*************************************************************************************************************

The weather has begun to get colder north of Boston, though it hasn’t been as cold as it usually is in November. Nevertheless, even a temperature of 45 degrees with the wind blowing feels freezing to me. As a matter of fact, I wore my winter parka yesterday and today for the first time. And I even wore my toasty warm new knitted hat from Heat Holders.

I wrote about Heat Holders last year (here). The warm socks that Heat Holders sent saved my feet from freezing with all the winter hiking and snow shoeing that I did last year.

This year, I received:

  • a cute purple knitted hat
  • the warmest gloves ever
  • black knee-hi cozy socks.

Women’s Knitted Hat

I lucked out big time because my winter parka is purple. I think the purple Nora Seed Knit Hat with Ribbed Trim that Heat Holders sent suits me perfectly.

The fuzzy, super soft, plush, fur-like, thermal lining that’s called Heatweaver Insulation Liner not only keeps my head and ears extra warm, but it isn’t itchy at all. I love it!

The hat is one size, but it has a tight stretch so it fits very well. My knitted hat has a diamond weave pattern, but I wasn’t able to find it on the HH website. Instead, there is a similar knitted hat with Heatweaver Insulation that has cables. It comes in four colors: black, purple, dark grey, light grey. It’s priced at $19.99, an excellent price for such a warm and cute hat.

Women’s High Performance Gloves

Although Jeff often tells me that I should wear mittens in the cold, I do a lot of things that require me to use my fingers: shoveling snow, holding poles for hiking or snow shoeing, and rock climbing, just to name a few. So I prefer gloves. These High Performance gloves have rubbery, grippy material at the palm and thumb that make it easier to hold things. They also have a clip to keep the two gloves together which is great for me since I often lose one glove.

The black Heat Holders Women’s High Performance Gloves that I received have the Heatweaver Insulation Liner as well as a terrific elasticized cuff at my wrist that will keep the warm air near my hands and the snow and cold wind out of my gloves. The additional Thinsulate lining is breathable but keeps the warmth in. The adjustable strap improve the fit as well as keep out the cold. They are the warmest gloves I have ever owned!

The only thing I wish this pair of HH gloves had was Touch Screen fabric at the index finger that would allow me to make contact with the screen of my iPhone. But I discovered that two of their other models, Quinn and Kenai, have that feature. I think I’m glad that I’ve got the warmest gloves. They’re priced at $24.99.

Women’s Millie LITE Merino Blend Socks

I’m always concerned that winter socks will make my skin itch, so I was both thrilled and relieved to get a pair of LITE Merino Wool (one of the two types of wool I can wear) Blend thermal knee-high socks. The plush Heatweaver lining not only is the warmest thing ever, but it is so soft on my skin. They are described as LITE or Lite-Medium thickness, rated TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) 1.8 or more than 5 times as warm as regular cotton socks. These socks will be fantastic for winter hiking, snow shoeing, and just being outdoors for hours shoveling snow.

Although the socks are described as “crew socks” on the website, on me they are knee-high socks. They have reinforced toes and heels so they will last a long time. And I’m glad they’re black to go with everything.

The Women’s LITE Merino Wool Blend Socks are priced at $15.99.

Honestly, I got the best trio of cold weather accessories from Heat Holders! I am so grateful.

If you live in a cold part of the country or if you are looking for holiday gifts for someone who does, you must Must MUST visit the Heat Holders website and check out their cozy items. It will truly be a gift that a cold weather person or someone who just likes to feel warm and cozy will appreciate! I just read through the materials that Heat Holders sent me, and they included a 15% discount for Friends and Family with the code spass21 that is good until March 31, 2022.

  1. Allison, you look so cute in the hat. Even though I live in Michigan I no longer enjoy winter activities. But I sure did enjoy looking at their web page

    1. Thanks, Sandy! I know what you mean. This year, I am having a difficult time getting used to the colder temperatures and the seesawing between warm and cold weather. Tomorrow, it’s going to be 65 again here, so I guess I shouldn’t complain. But even going out to do errands yesterday, that hat kept me really warm, yay!

  2. I absolutely LOVE their socks, and really want to try their hat and gloves next! I am wearing their thick socks at this very moment, in fact! Purple has been my very favorite color my entire life, and that hat is just perfect for me!

I am going to look for the merino blend socks for santa to put in my stocking. I love merino, it is just so warm.

    1. I hope Santa will take advantage of the 15% off code, lol, Melissa! Merino and sometimes cashmere are the only wools that I can wear. Please the plus lining in the Heat Holders LITE Merino Socks is not only super warm but exceedingly soft and keeps the wool away from your skin.

  5. My husband paid close to $100 for heated gloves. He takes the dog to the dog park several times a day. I wonder if he’d wear these gloves. He’s the outdoor guy while I cover up in the house all winter. Love the hat especially.

    1. Whoa, heated gloves! I have never heard of those. Amazing but pricey. I think the Heat Holders Performance Gloves will work for me, but thank goodness, it’s almost 70 degrees outdoors today
