I know you’re beginning to think that I spend all of my time shopping the ads that I see on Facebook. 🙄 😉 I’m in a lot of blogging groups that are on Facebook, so that’s why I’m on so much. Plus my career was in advertising, so there you go. I like advertising!
A few weeks ago, I saw an ad for Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Lingerie. I honestly have no idea how long Savage x Fenty has been around because that was the first time I heard about it. I haven’t bought any Fenty makeup yet because when I tried to buy the foundation when it first came out, my shade was always out of stock. I realized the foundation formula probably wouldn’t suit my mature dry skin anyway. But lingerie, like jewelry and perfume, always catches my eye.
Honestly, I have been wearing the same bra brand and style for well over a decade: the functional Bali Passion for Comfort Bra #3383. It doesn’t have the foam lining that I detest. And it doesn’t have lace that I often find itchy.
So Savage x Fenty is a big departure from Bali Passion for Comfort, lol. As usual, it was a sale that really got my attention. I can’t remember the exact price for first time customers, but it was something like 2 bras for $26, a really deep discount from Savage x Fenty’s regular full prices that seem to be in the $44-$54 range (I see that there are often sales, though not as quite good as the intro price I paid).
As I mentioned, I prefer unlined bras and Savage x Fenty has a number of them in addition to the molded bras that are ubiquitous these days. In fact, Savage x Fenty has unlined bralettes, unlined bras without underwire, and unlined underwire bras. The size range is vast: 32A-38D and 38DD-44DD. Not surprisingly, Rihanna has introduced a product line to fit a large percentage of women, though not everyone. Still, pretty amazing. Plus, the bras and lingerie are sexy, cute and very pretty in lots of colors and patterns rather than just your basic nude, white and black.
After a lot of consideration, I decided on two slightly different styles:
From what I can tell, Savage x Fenty introduces new styles quite frequently, I would assume, to spur more sales. In some ways, that worries me because I would be unhappy if they discontinued a style that I really like. Oh well, that’s retailing.
I ordered online, but I had a few tech glitches with their website regarding the introductory price, so I had to call customer service. The phone customer service ended up being an overseas call center that was only marginally helpful. Next, I went to their Facebook page and I did a live chat with a US customer service rep who took my phone number and called me back. She was able to get around the tech issue and help me place my order.
The two bras I ordered online arrived in about a week. There’s free shipping. If you’re not satisfied, you can send the bra back within 30 days for free. That’s great because I had never purchased a bra without trying it on first. I guess it’s like buying shoes online.
They came in a nice box wrapped in tissue paper in pale peach, lavender and grey shades.
Each bra was sealed in a plastic bag.
What I loved were the thin straps and the rose gold hardware, e.g. hooks and eyes etc. So pretty. So different from my Bali bras.
Unlined Microfiber Demi Cup Underwire Bra
I was nervous about ordering a demi cup bra, thinking that the coverage may not be enough. Frankly, I’m not sure why they call this a demi cup because on me, it is a full coverage cup.
In fact, I adore this bra. I ordered both of the bras in size 36C, and they fit perfectly. I love the dart that provides a great fit and lift.
The microfiber fabric is super soft and exceedingly comfortable as well as supportive. The trim is so soft against my skin that I don’t know that it’s there. The underwire is very comfortable. In fact, I forget that I’m wearing this bra. No kidding.
I am considering ordering another one. This style comes in 8 shades (I love the peach with pink trim and straps), and I may get one in black, shade Caviar/Caviar.
Unlined Mesh Bra
The Unlined Mesh Bra has full coverage cups. It has lace trim. I was concerned that the lace might be itchy like other lace or lace trimmed bras that I bought and never wear. I was concerned unnecessarily. The lace is an elastic-type lace, and it’s super soft. No problem whatsoever.
The mesh is a fine, semi-sheer, very lightweight but supportive mesh. It is a comfortable fabric, though I prefer the smoothness of the microfiber of the other bra. This style also has a dart for lift. I don’t feel the dart at all.
This bra fits me well like the other one, and the underwire is comfortable, too. There is something different about how the straps fit. I’m not sure if the way they are set on the back is slightly different from the other style bra. Initially, the straps would slip onto my arms. I finally figure out that I hadn’t shortened them enough via the slide in the back. Now that I have adjusted them correctly, this bra is just as comfortable as the Unlined Demi Cup.

So I was lucky right out of the gate. Both bra styles that I selected fit me perfectly, are very cute and they are amazingly comfortable. Thank you Savage x Fenty. You’ve gained a customer!
Both bras that I bought are regularly priced at $44, but the website shows that they are both available at a price of 2 for $44 (and you can mix and match because that’s what I did when I bought these). Though not as cheap as the intro price, it is still a good deal.
The instructions say that the bras should be hand washed with gentle detergent. However, I will most likely give up on that and wash them in the machine in a lingerie bag. I also line dry my bras. I’m hoping the bras will hold up over time.
I haven’t bought any panties or other lingerie from Savage x Fenty yet, but maybe I will at some point. I’m impressed so far with Savage x Fenty. I think I will take advantage of the 2 for $44 deal, and buy another one of each of these styles in different colors, probably black for the first one and hot pink for the second.

The lingerie brand is new, so I’m not surprised you haven’t heard about it yet. I was blown away by the quality and the fit. I never thought I could buy bras without trying them on first, but these fit better than the brand/style I had been wearing for years. And though they do have foam lined bras, I love that they have unlined too
I really love the styles you picked out. Unfortunately for me, I’m usually too small on top to get these sheer, liner-free styles, haha. I didn’t realize they had such discounts. I’ll have to take a look and see what kind of styles they would have in my size.
Claudia, I didn’t mean to imply that others should buy my styles necessarily. The really have lots of different styles in a huge array of sizes lined, padded, unlined, everything. With the intro price, it is so worth it to take a look!

I think the lingerie line is quite new. I just stumbled on it via an ad on FB, but I have been blown away by the quality, fit, comfort, and detailing.
Isn’t it funny that we don’t use anything until we take photos. We’re so programmed to do that now. Those bras are very pretty. I don’t think my size is covered in her list though. I like an unlined bra without wires so I’m sure I’d be tempted by many.
Exactly. I took the photos right away because I was so eager to try them on! I noticed that there were sizes that were not available, and I wonder if she will “fill in” as time goes on. However, I was happy to see that they have added DDD in some styles. The 2 bras I bought are of excellent quality.

I didn’t know that Rhianna had a lingerie line! The things you learn on blogs. 🙂 These are really pretty, but I feel like I need so much support that I would break the shoulder straps with my DDD.
The bras with larger cup sizes have different, more supportive straps. It’s worth a look at the website, just for fun. They have just started carrying some of the styles in DDD.
I ordered during this super sale too! I picked 2 Demi cup t-shirt bras. While they are very soft and comfortable, the cups are too small. Plus, I really prefer full coverage. So I’m going to have to return them…bummer! Your picks look really nice though.
That’s a shame, Kristina, that they didn’t fit. I was surprised that the unlined “demi cup” (the peach one) that I ordered is not a demi which is actually a good thing. I am planning to buy two more because it is just so comfortable!

I hasn’t heard of this collab, but those are some seriously cute bras and I love that they offer a better size range.
