Ritual Beauty Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum & GIVEAWAY

At the beginning of the summer, I received an email from the woman behind Ritual Beauty, a beauty brand that was new to me. I am always excited to get acquainted with women who take risks and start their own businesses. And I love to find out what inspired them to start their particular business.

Ritual Beauty’s History and Inspiration

As a child, accompanying her mom to cosmetics counters to shop for new lipstick and watching her mom apply makeup at her vanity table, Dawn Levy fell in love with cosmetics. Dawn’s mother was her true inspiration. As a teen, Dawn battled with acne like so many other teens, but found a dermatologist who prescribed Retin-A to help clear up her skin and impressed upon her the importance of daily, consistent skincare. Though she loved makeup, she came to believe that healthy skin is the most important step for a beautiful look.

In college, Dawn studied chemistry, intending to go to medical school. But because of her love of beauty products, she realized that developing skincare products to help women look, feel and be more confident (the Ritual Beauty tagline is “Look. Feel. Be.”) was the way she wanted to use her chemistry background.

Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum

Dawn launched Ritual Beauty in 2012 with Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum, a multi-tasking anti-aging product that is a serum and moisturizer in one.

Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum

SPONSORED POST          Sponsored Post & Links

Ritual Beauty’s Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum has been formulated to:

  • smooth fine lines and wrinkles
  • help even skin tone
  • improve skin texture without irritation.

It contains the peptide Matrixyl 3000, alpha hydroxy acids, and an antioxidant complex. I was eager to try Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum because I have never used a product with Matrixyl 3000, an ingredient that has been shown to decrease the density of wrinkles, repair photo-aged skin (like mine!), and improve collagen networks in skin that get defragmented with age. The AHAs gently exfoliate, uncover new skin and help even skin tone, while the antioxidants protect skin from free radicals.

Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum is a lightweight but very hydrating cream that comes in an attractive pump bottle. The pump helps protect the efficacy of the ingredients. It takes me 2-3 pumps to cover my face and neck.

I have sensitive, easily irritated skin with fine lines and wrinkles as well as hyper pigmentation from sun exposure. I have been using Ritual Beauty’s Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum for a little more than two months. Because it does not contain SPF, I use it primarily at night, and when I use it during the day, I use a foundation with SPF.

Prior to using this product, I was using another moisturizer that I really liked. Imagine my amazement that I’ve pretty much abandoned my former love for Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum. I ADORE this product! I am totally addicted. I love the feel of it on my skin.

I’m also amazed at how much healthier and more youthful my skin feels and looks. I was looking at my face in the mirror the other day, and I was happy. It looked like I had slept for a couple of weeks (which I definitely have not!). My skin looks tighter, brighter, and my fine lines seemed to be less obvious. I’m still working on fading my dark spots with the Treatment Serum plus the Vitamin C Serum I also use (LOL, those dark spots require the heavy guns and a long-term commitment though they are fading).

The pump bottle contains 1 fl. oz./30 ml, and it is sold for $39.00 on the Ritual Beauty website: www.myritualbeauty.com. Ritual Beauty is made in the U.S., and it does not test on animals. It is fragrance-free and parabens-free.

GIVEAWAY

In order to share my excitement about Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum, Ritual Beauty is giving away a bottle of my favorite serum/moisturizer to 2 lucky winners! I’ve been telling my friends about how much I love it, but now we’re going to get the word out and share the love.

Giveaway Rules: PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY!

This giveaway is limited to U.S. residents, age 18+, where permitted by law. If you’ve won an NSDB giveaway in the past, you may enter this one, too.

Please leave a comment on the blog about why you’d like to win Ritual Beauty Daily Perfecting Treatment Serum. The comment about the serum/moisturizer is mandatory. In the last couple of giveaways, so many people who “entered” did not leave the mandatory comment. If you don’t comment, you will be disqualified. I do check! When you leave a comment, no duplicates please, ie don’t just copy what someone else wrote. 😉

One entry per household, please.

YOU MUST RECORD YOUR ENTRIES ON THE RAFFLECOPTER WIDGET! In the last giveaway, a number of people commented as if they meant to enter the giveaway, but never recorded their comment and whether they subscribed to or followed the blog etc. on the Rafflecopter widget. As a result, they were not entered to win because Rafflecopter can only pick those who are recorded on the widget.

Rafflecopter is quite easy to use, but it can be a little tricky. Basically, you just click the options and follow the instructions. Once you leave your Comment, go to the Rafflecopter widget below and get credit for the Comment that you left. You must leave your comment on this particular blogpost, not another post on the blog.

If you already:

  • subscribe to Never Say Die Beauty
  • like Never Say Die Beauty on Facebook
  • follow Never Say Die Beauty on Twitter, Bloglovin’, Instagram, Google+, or Pinterest
  • like Ritual Beauty on Facebook or follow myRitualBeauty on Twitter,

you are entitled to more points. But YOU MUST CLICK OFF THOSE OPTIONS on the Rafflecopter widget, otherwise you will lose out on those extra points. Again, I noticed that some women I know follow me neglected to use the entry via Rafflecopter. SO DON’T FORGET!! 😉 If you’re having any problems with Rafflecopter, let me know but please give it a try on your own first. 🙂

If you don’t already subscribe to Never Say Die Beauty via email and you want to, the signup is on the homepage of the blog in the upper right hand side. 🙂 Then be sure to get credit for subscribing via email, liking on Facebook, following on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, or Bloglovin’ by registering whichever way(s) you follow me on the Rafflecopter widget below and leave whichever names you follow NSDB under in the correct area of the Rafflecopter widget. As mentioned above, there are also extra entries for those who follow Ritual Beauty on Facebook and/or Twitter.

To recap, this giveaway is open to US residents age 18 or older. Void in states where prohibited. The 2 winners will be selected by a random drawing via the Rafflecopter widget (that’s why you want to make sure you enter via the widget!), and the winners will be notified by me via e-mail. You have 48 hours to get back to me, if not a new winner(s) will be selected. The winners will provide me with their mailing addresses, and Ritual Beauty will mail your prize to you as soon as possible. Ritual Beauty and I are not responsible for loss or damage in shipping. In other words, if it’s lost or damaged in shipping, we will be sad, but there is no replacement.

The giveaway runs for two weeks: from Monday, August 18 at 12:01am to 12:00am Tuesday, September 2.

  6. Because, I have to go somewhere else and do something else.–It’s just not worth it to me. I’m so old school, drawing a name out of a hat is my idea of entering a contest!

    1. Oh, Jane, you are so nice to take the time to answer me! When I first started, I actually made little entries out of paper and put them in a hat. But it got too complicated to make the pieces for all the different entries, so I moved on to Rafflecopter. But I see that quite a few women have a problem with it. I’ll have to see if there are other options that are quicker and easier to use. I’ll add you in anyway if I can! Have a good day doing whatever is on your agenda, and again I appreciate your comment about the product!!

  7. I’ve followed Dawn’s blog (she’s so nice!) but haven’t tried this. It sounds right up my alley. My skin is having a minute. It’s really misbehaving this summer. I just started a low dose of Retin A up and I am hoping things will be looking better in a few months!

I hope your skin will be back to its normal self soon to go with your gorgeous eyelashes! Thank you for entering and good luck 🙂

  12. rach says:

I would love to try this one because not only does it sound like a nice product, but the price point is friendly as well. I really enjoy some of the other serums I’ve used before but the price tags are quite high. I’d like to find a product I can fall in love with without causing my bank account to sob in the background!

    1. And what’s also pretty cool about this product is that I don’t need a moisturizer (at least not in the warm weather) with it. It really is a serum/moisturizer in one, Rach! I think it’s a wonderful deal. Thank you for entering the giveaway! Good luck 🙂

  13. I like the idea of a serum and a moisturizer in one product, this for sure saves time since most serums dry your skin and should be followed by a moisturizer.
Good luck to all participating in this giveaway. I will be adding this treatment to my wish list !
    Have a nice day, Allison!
