RITUALS Bath and Body Products Haul

My four favorite bath and body brands in no particular order are artisan-made Nature Island Botanicals, English-brand Molton Brown, Dutch-brand RITUALS, and Farmhouse Fresh from Texas. They all are natural, high quality, and have absolutely divine scents.

As you know, I love a bargain, and I usually wait for things to be on sale before I purchase. RITUALS had a terrific Memorial weekend sale with a higher discount and more free gifts when you purchase more products. So I decided to stock up to get 30% off, several free gifts, and because I am going through hand cream like nobody’s business. I got replacements for products that I use on the regular as well as some new things.

RITUALS bath, body and hand care products

What I purchased:

  • Ritual of Sakura Kitchen Hand Balm: I am down to the last 20% of the bottle that sits on my night table, so it made sense to repurchase while it was on sale. I love the light cherry blossom scent, and the rich but not greasy balm feel. BTW, they call it “Kitchen Hand Balm” because it comes in a square pump bottle instead of the tube that they also sell.
  • Precious Amber Private Collection Kitchen Hand Balm: I am a fan of amber perfumes, so when I saw Precious Amber Hand Balm I decided to go for it. The random hand cream I bought years ago at Marshall’s that’s by my kitchen sink is almost empty. Replacing it with gorgeous amber will be a treat.
  • Ritual of Sakura Magic Touch Body Cream: Anything with the word “magic” in the title gets my attention. No really, I have tried a travel size body cream in a different scent and I liked it, so I decided to try the Sakura Body Cream since that’s my favorite RITUALS scent for spring and summer. Plus, I have the Body Mist, and I like to layer the scent.
  • Ritual of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel: With rice milk and cherry blossom, this rather unique clear shower gel that turns into a rich foam on contact with water is a treat to use. It smells heavenly, and it’s a perfect shaving gel. It leaves my skin lightly hydrated. It’s one of those bath and body products that I buy at least once or twice a year.

3 cans of RITUALS Foaming Shower Gels in 3 different scents

  • Ritual of Ayurveda Foaming Shower Gel: I decided to add this to my order because I like the spicy scent of the Ayurveda collection that’s formulated with sweet almond oil and Indian rose. Also the foaming shower gel is one of the most affordable of the RITUALS products, and if you purchased 4 products or more, you got the 30% off discount, and if you spent a certain amount you got free shipping. I think qualifying for free shipping was the real reason I added this. With the 30% off discount, it was less money to add the Ayurveda Foaming Shower Gel to my order than to pay for shipping.

Rituals of Sakura shower foam, hand balm and body cream

What I got for free:

  • Ritual of Hammam Foaming Shower Gel, full size: Hammam is the name of the eastern steam bath. I have never tried any of the products from this collection. From their marketing and advertising materials, the Hammam collection comes across as gender neutral. The key notes in the Hammam Foaming Shower Gel are aromatic eucalyptus and rosemary that RITUALS describes as “refreshing and revitalizing”. I haven’t opened it yet, but if it’s too strong for me, it will go to Jeff.
  • Ritual of Ayurveda Hair and Body Mist, travel size: I thought this was body oil (which I already own), but after putting on my glasses, I realized it’s Hair and Body Mist. Yay! I just tried it out, and it’s delightful. Great little gift!

3 mini tubes of 3 different scents of RITUALS Hand Balm

  • In Good Hands Hand Care Favorites, set of 3 purse size tubes of hand balm: This was a wonderful added extra. The three scents are Sakura, Ayurveda and Karma, two of my favorite scents and a new-to-me scent with notes of Holy Lotus and white tea. To me, Karma smells similar to Ritual of Dao that I tried this past November (reviewed here).

I think I ended up paying just over $50, and I got 8 products. Not bad at all.

If you haven’t already, check out RITUALS products. Right now, RITUALS is having a summer sale with products from several collections discounted up to 50%. Ritual of Dao is one of the collections, and the products have a lovely and subtle scent. The website also is having 20% off on Father’s Day gifts from the Ritual of Samurai and Ritual of Hammam. RITUALS bath, body and home products are wonderful affordable luxuries that I love. I think you might, too.

  1. Lovely haul, Allison! As you know, this is one of my favorite brands as well, and three of the four brands that you mentioned are my favorites as well (Nature Island Botanicals is the only one that I haven’t tried). I wish that I had partaken in this Memorial Day sale!
