A couple of week’s ago, I told you I was hooked on DefenAge Skincare (reviewed here), and that I didn’t want to switch to another line. Well, I finally looked at some of the products I had been sent, and I realized one brand sent products that were for different uses so I wouldn’t have to give up the anti-aging cream and serum from DefenAge after all.
The skincare that I added to my routine about a month ago or so were from Robin McGraw Revelation Luxury Skincare. Now I live in my own little world, lol, and I didn’t know who Robin McGraw is. You probably already know that she’s the wife of Dr. Phil (I have never seen the Dr. Phil Show). She is also a philanthropist and an advocate for domestic abuse victims.
In 2016, she launched Robin McGraw Revelation Luxury Skincare as part of her lifestyle brand. Her skincare products are cruelty-free and free from sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, and parabens. Her website says they’re free from “chemicals”, but all skincare products are made with chemicals, though some are natural and others are synthetic.
I was sent a trio of Robin McGraw Revelation Luxury Skincare products to try out. I love the modern, elegant look of the products in their shiny teal blue and silver packaging. The three products I got come in airless pumps to maintain the efficacy of the ingredients inside. All three of the products have witty names that are creative and fun.
Live Life LIFTED Firming Neck & Decolleté Cream
The neck and decollete cream was the surprise winner in the trio for me. If you read my blog, you know that I am an ardent fan of StriVectin TL Advanced Firming Neck Cream which is a rich, heavy cream that I know isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. In fact, I would say the StriVectin is best for mature and very dry skin. Well, Robin McGraw Revelation Live Life Lifted Firming Neck & Decollete Cream certainly could be everyone’s cup of tea. It is a much lighter weight cream that sinks into the skin on my neck and chest immediately, but feels very soothing and protective. It is instantly smoothing.
I use it under my jaw line and onto my neck. I try to remember to use it on my chest/decollete area, an area that I often forget to apply moisturizer to. With peptides to help boost collagen production and jojoba esters and sunflower seed oil to promote elasticity and hydration, it absolutely makes my skin feel tighter (in a good way) and more resilient. I think it’s a great neck cream for both mature skin and younger people who want to add a firming neck cream to their regimen to stave off the look of aging skin on the neck and decollete.
The website says that Firming Neck & Decollete Cream target:
- Fine lines and wrinkles in the neck and décolleté areas
- Loss of skin firmness and elasticity from the chin to the chest
- Crepey, sagging skin
- Dark spots and discoloration
So far for me, I have noticed my skin feeling strengthened and more elastic. I do have a dark spot from sun damage on my chest that I have to make sure I cover and see if it will fade over time. I also will keep an eye on lines and wrinkles on my neck and see if they will be less noticeable over time. I also apply it to the skin on my jawline to try to keep sagging skin/jowls at bay. The grandmother who I look like had them, and I don’t want ’em!
I love this stuff! A small amount goes a long way, and the airless pump keeps the ingredients active vs. the jarred cream I was using. In fact, it is a much better value than my former fave from StriVectin. Robin McGraw Live Life Lifted Firming Neck & Decollete Cream contains 1 fl. oz./30 ml for $42 vs my other neck cream 1.7 oz./50 ml for about $90. And this is cruelty-free.
I think I have a lot more in the bottle, and I do have one unopened jar of StriVectin left that I will use. But when that’s done, I intend to switch to Live Life Lifted because I like it better.

Dot Your EYES Power Peptide Eye Cream
I’m always game to try a new eye cream. Though I have several faves, I always think there may be a better one out there.
Dot Your Eyes Power Peptide Eye Cream is a medium weight cream that, again, comes in an airless pump.

The eye cream via its 5 peptide complex and botanical ingredients promotes collagen production, reduces aging via glycation (sugars that promote skin aging) and tighten the skin.
I don’t know why, but I have been using this delightful eye cream primarily under my eyes and on my crow’s feet. I have continued to use my belif Eye gel on my dry lids and on the skin above and in the crease. For me, Robin McGraw Power Peptide Eye Cream does an admirable job hydrating the skin under my eyes, the fine lines under my eye sockets and the area where my crow’s feet are so they seem less noticeable. I don’t have puffy eyes or under eye bags, thankfully, so I can’t say anything about that effect. I really should try Power Peptide Eye Cream on my lids and on the skin above my crease to see how it does. I’ll let you know.

OMG! Is this really ME? Instant Face Shaper
This was the product that initially I had been most excited about trying because it seemed so different. Plus as I mentioned above, I am always trying to maintain the contour along my jawline. I thought this product might help.
The Instant Face Shaper was developed to:
- Reduce puffiness and under eye bags in minutes
- Deeply hydrate and repair skin to diminish appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Protect against future aging with powerful antioxidants
- Provide immediate lift to tired skin using potent, natural ingredients
Unfortunately, the Instant Face Shaper is a weird translucent gel that sort of shoots out of the pump in ribbons.
I found that it sits on top of my skin like a coating. When I applied foundation on top of it, it beaded up and ruined my foundation. I gave up on it.
Because Robin McGraw Revelation Luxury Skincare was a new-to-me brand, I checked out the customer reviews on the three products I tried. Both the Firming Neck & Decollete Cream and the Power Peptide Eye Cream got raves, while the Instant Face Shaper got complaints that were similar to mine. I looked for Instant Face Shaper on the Robin McGraw Revelations website, but it isn’t listed so I’m wondering if it’s been pulled so they could reformulate and improve it. It is listed as “currently unavailable” on Amazon as well. Nevertheless, I thought I’d tell you about it since I had received it for review. Actually, I am heartened to see that the company pulled the product since it didn’t seem to be working the way they had expected it to.

In sum, I am delighted that I discovered Robin McGraw Live Life Lifted Firming Neck & Decollete Cream, and I like the Power Peptide Eye Cream as well. Do you know Robin McGraw from TV, and have you tried any of her skincare products yet?
I am a huge fan of this brand as you know and have tried a fair number of her products and love almost all of them. I love that eye cream too but haven’t try the other two products. Her moisturizers and serums are brilliant also.

You’re not alone. I don’t know this brand. I know Dr Phil don’t watch his show. The last product may have dimethicone in it, thus the texture. That’s kind of weird to have that feeling on your face, ha.
I’m not even sure it’s the dimethicone since I’m a big fan of dimeth. But clearly there’s a problem with the formula since it seems they pulled the product, and others had similar issues to mine. But the neck & decollete cream is terrific, and the eye cream is good too.
It’s great to hear that the neck cream was a surprise winner for you. I have never tried this brand, but have been seeing a lot of people review it lately.
I had been reading a lot of reviews of Robin McGraw Revelation Luxury Skincare too, and I was very curious about it. I’m glad that I came out with a new favorite after trying some of the products 🙂
I like and dislike the same products as you. I’ll review these soon. I thought it was just me with the Instant Face Shaper. It doesn’t play well with my other products and it’s meant to be used during the day. I am pleased with the eye cream, especially for crow’s feet.

I like that eye cream. I prefer the PRAI neck cream to the Robin McGraw one.
I don’t know the PRAI neck cream. What do you prefer about that one? I still have at least one jar of StriVectin to use up, but I’m always on the look out for a more affordable and somewhat less thick neck cream than the StriVectin (though it really works for me!)

I haven’t started using a neck cream yet – I use my regular moisturiser. I got the Prai one recently in a beauty box, and have given it to my Mum, who enjoyed the StriVectin one from before, so hopefully she’ll enjoy this one as well.
Yes, you don’t need a neck cream at your age. As you know, I love StriVectin neck cream but the Robin McGraw impressed me because it is so much lighter but still hydrates very well. Cindy mentioned the PRAI neck cream, too. I guess I need to get me a sample!

I will have to tell my mom about the neck and decolette cream. She loves using products to treat that area.
I thought the Robin McGraw Neck & Decollete Cream is a very good one, less heavy than my usual StriVectin that’s better for winter.

One of my Canadian blogger friends reviewed the eye cream and a couple of other products from Robin McGraw, and the packaging really caught my eye. I was delighted to get to try out some of the products. The eye cream and the neck/decollete cream were excellent products for me!
It’s so important to take care of the neck area! People had warned me that it’s the first place to show lines but I didn’t really pay attention, and now I regret it. But I use a cream on my neck and decollete daily now and I’m seeing results!
I definitely agree with you. The skin on the neck and chest are thin, sort of like around the eyes. You are proof that you’re never to young to start!
