Roses on My Mind with Luxurious Irene Forte Rose Face Oil

I was lucky to be the recipient of red roses this year for Valentine’s Day from Jeff. They were resplendent in deep burgundy red.

The few that bowed their heads in the vase after a couple of days went into a separate bowl where they are living their best life.

Because I love roses, I couldn’t resist adding these adorable red and white miniature roses to my houseplant collection.

The two-toned roses reminded me of the song “Painting the Roses Red” from the original Disney Alice in Wonderland movie that has stuck with me all these years. The sequence from the movie is so cute, I suggest you watch it to put a smile on your face:

As a fan of roses, I can’t help but love rose face oil. For about the past month, I’ve been using luxurious Irene Forte Rose Face Oil.

First, I like the bottle: the neutral color with the frosted faux glass (i.e. plastic) neck.

And even the pump applicator is a little different.

The oil is self is lightweight, clear, and it absorbs quickly, transforming skin to a velvety softness. The oil has a faint rose-like scent. The Omega-rich organic anti-aging oil that features vitamin E (30% stabilized vitamin E) is designed to improve the clarity of the skin and minimize signs of aging. Vitamin E nourishes, boosts the skin’s barrier, and, as an antioxidant, helps protect skin against environmental aggressors.

Here’s what the Irene Forte website says about the oil:

“A powerful blend of nutrient-rich oils, including Avocado, Sweet Almond, Sunflower, Olive and Jojoba, hydrates and brightens, while antioxidant-rich Wild Rose conditions and protects…Clinically approved for sensitive skin. Also suitable for all skin types, especially mature, dry or dehydrated.”

Although Irene Forte Rose Face Oil (1 fl. oz./30 ml) at $140 is definitely a splurge, it is effective as well as luxurious. It’s a treat for my skin when it’s feeling tight or dry, though I use it most nights even when my skin feels fine because it’s such a pleasure.

To make it a little more within reach, signing up for emails on the Irene Forte website gives you 10% off the price. Irene Forte Skincare is also sold at Nordstrom where it’s priced at $129, Net-A-Porter where it’s $125 plus 10% cash back from Rakuten now, Liberty of London, Shen-Beauty.com, and niche-beauty.com.

For those of us (including me) who are new to the brand (there’s a complete line of skincare products), here’s some important info on what the Irene Forte Skincare brand believes and does:

  2. This sounds so perfect for you. I’m sure a little goes a long way making it not quite as costly as the first outlay. And it will last unlike the beautiful flowers that you received and bought.
