I finally got to try a Kouign Amann, so that was a yummy part of my weekend. The rest was unexciting, but not bad. How about you?
I think I tried a Kouign Amann a few years ago at a bakery that was at a local farmer’s market. I have to look up what it is coz I don’t remember. But it sounds delicious! A relatively quiet weekend for me with hiking both days. Nice.
It’s heaven in a pastry. They had them at my local Whole Foods.
I just looked it up, and now I remember. Flaky and buttery! I looked at the recipe, but it looks too difficult for me to make.
I can barely make toast, so I won’t be making it myself either!

Plum Springs looks really nice, and a bit different from your usual, I think! So did you get 2 of each or were you able to get one Clear and the Plum Springs as the second one. Right now, I have 3 Clears waiting in the wings, and I was wondering if I could get one Clear and one Dusty Rose. I haven’t tried yet
I got one of each, and no problems getting the BOGO deal! I just opened my last clear tube so the timing is perfect.
