I love fragrances all year round not just for myself but also for my home. I really get into it once autumn comes round. And for the holidays – Thanksgiving and Christmas time – it’s a must! I love the warm and spicy scents especially for my kitchen, bathrooms and family room.
Because I have asthma, I have to be careful about what I use to scent my home. For me, natural is best. Synthetic fragrances may contain any of 3000 chemical components, none of which are required to be published on the ingredient list. Ugh. So I was happy to have an opportunity to try Via Nature Natural Home Holiday Fragrance Sprays.
Via Nature was a new brand for me, and I was glad to be introduced to it. I’ve since found out that Via Nature is known for 100% pure Essential Oils as well as an extensive line of natural personal care products including Via Nature body care, facial care, hair care, essential oils, and deodorant products, all made to the highest standards. Their products are cruelty-free and vegan. You can learn more about the brand on the Via Nature website.
I received two scents that are very holiday appropriate:
- orange & clove pomander
- sweet & spicy peppermint
There are two other scents in the product line: Frankincense & Myrrh, Lemon Créme & Spice.
Truth be told, I will use the sprays I received all year round!
I love pomanders, and I’ve made them myself many times with an orange, cloves and a mixture of cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. They smell great, but after a while, the orange rots and turns green, ew. 😥 Orange & Clove Pomander from Via Nature smells so much like a real pomander. The clove scent is the most dominant and it smells great, but the orange kicks in as well and smooths out the fragrance.
When I saw the Sweet & Spicy Peppermint, I was a little nervous that it could be too minty. Boy was I wrong! What a fabulous scent! I’d describe it as candy cane. It is pepperminty but it has the sweetness of candy mixed in with the mint. I love it!
The fragrance sprays come in aluminum (I think) recyclable pump spray cans, and they are very easy to use. It’s critical to shake the can well to mix the natural ingredients. I was amazed that one good spray created so much fabulous scent! Although the scent isn’t quite as long-lasting in the air as the ones made with chemicals from the grocery store, I prefer these natural scents hands-down. The cans are even stamped with an expiration date so you know that your scent is fresh.
Via Nature Natural Home Holiday Fragrance Spray contains 4 fl. oz. and is made in the U.S. by Universal BioSciences. Price $7.49. They’re the perfect home accessory for the upcoming holidays. For more information, visit the Via Nature website.
I am obsessed with scents this time of year. The more candles, the better. And it’s always a bonus if they are natural. Sometimes I think it’s hard to find naturally scented products that actually smell good, so I’m glad to hear this is a good one! Book-marking it for holiday gifts for friends with allergies 🙂

I’ve had good results with these, Kelsey. They’re worth remembering!
That’s awesome! Iove natural scents like this. My fave company for stuff like this is Saje Natural Wellness. I have a room spray for the bathroom called aroma loo lol!
That’s so cute, Elaine! I’ll have to check out Saje too 🙂
I LOVE that these are all natural! I love fragrances and room sprays, but can’t help but feel like I’m just dousing the room in chemicals when I use them. I’ll have to get something like this!

It’s true, I feel the same way! These are a great solution and they smell fabulous 🙂
Oh my gosh I absolutely need this! Love fragrance in the home, especially this time of year.
They’re really lovely, Tina! They smell so different from chemical sprays. These are more like essential oil scents writ large! I love them, and with my asthma they have me breathing easy!
It is so difficult to find room sprays that don’t exacerbate my allergies and this sounds like a great option. Like you, I am a fan of warm and spicy scents. Anything with clove is good in my book!

Yes, you really have to be careful coz so many of the chemical scents in sprays and candles can make you sick!
I love making my house smell good for the holidays! I love apple scents, and spicy scents. Which is great because I just bought the Yankee Candle Apple Spice candle.

I bet they smell amazing. I’m trying their natural deodorants, and they smell soooo good. The orange spray deodorant can also be used as a room spray. Yum.

It is easy to do! You and your girls would have fun doing it. But warning, it does rot and turn green after a couple of weeks!
