I’m officially proclaiming 2016 the Year of Haircare Products! I have been discovering so many new and fabulous hair products this year, I’m blown away.
The products that have been impressing me most are leave-in serums, the kind of product I never would have even considered a couple of years ago. I always thought that anything “leave-in” would weigh down my hair and make it greasy or make it get dirty sooner. I no longer think that’s true!
I have been using IT Haircare 12-in-One Amazing Leave-In Treatment with Abyssinian Oil, and I love what it does for my hair. I’m convinced that it’s the Abyssinian oil as well as the other oils in the formula (argan, hazelnut, avocado, acai pulp oil) that’s doing the trick. I can’t get enough of oils for my hair. They make my hair feel like silk, and that’s exactly what 12-in-One does! I spend far too much time lately feeling how absolutely tangle-free and silky soft my hair is. Earlier this year, I had been complaining that my ends, after my hair was dried and straightened, felt tangled and dry. No more! I can easily run my fingers through my hair. Yay!

IT Haircare 12-in-One is a thickish cloudy serum that you spray on. It has a very light sweet scent that I can’t smell on my hair at all. You can apply it just to your ends, if you like. I do apply a little to my whole head because I want the heat protection as well as the color protection. A few pumps is all it takes. And then comb through. Style as usual.
As you can tell, I’m very satisfied with this hair serum. (I know: My hair is super crayon red. The rinse that Vidal Sassoon uses on my hair was discontinued so my colorist combined a bunch of shades and came up with this bright shade. Yikes! But see how straight and frizz free my hair is?)

What’s your favorite hair leave-in treatment?
I am shameful to admit that I am terrible with my hair. LOL! I use an oil leave in treatment by John Freida and another by Dove and that’s pretty much it. But my hair is also very boring, I almost do nothing with it. I do wash everyday, let it air dry for a bit and then blow dry in lowest setting and a very quick run with straightener and I’m good.
This actually sounds lovely and I like how reasonably priced it is, I’m going to check my local drugstores.

It sounds like you take very good care of your hair, Shireen, by not putting a lot of stuff in it and by not overheating it. I have thick, coarse hair that is frizzy and has too much volume so flat ironing is a necessity for me. Serums like 12-in-One really are hair savers for me!
I love leave-in treatments, and the Abyssinian Oil makes me want to try this!

Allison, You know how much I love you so WHY, WHY, why do you do this to me?? You know how much I love Coconut oil ( heck I even take a Tbsp/per day) but I also love Argon Oil!! I have spent so much on hair care with Argon Oil in it only to read this earlier this morning. Needless to say, I had never heard of Abyssinian Oil so I googled it!! LOL, you just gotta love Google!! The benefits of this stuff are amazing! Not only for the hair but also for the skin. So now I can’t wait to try this! I went over to Amazon and ordered it and now have to beat Hubby to the PO so he doesn’t know I ordered something else! I am getting pretty good at being sneaky! LOL! Oh, Paula, you are too funny! I don’t want to come between you and your husband lol. This was the first time I heard of Abyssinian Oil and now I’m embarrassed that I didn’t look it up like you did and see all the benefits…though the freezeithair.com website does list the benefits/uses of the key ingredients. I’ve had great results with this one, Paula. My hair is thick, coarse with lots of volume but tends toward frizz, and after washing my hair and using this leave-in treatment then blow drying and flat ironing, it feels unbelievably silky. I hope you’ll have the same great results! Keep me posted!
As soon as I get it and start using I will surely let you know! My hair is fine and colored and I have terrible problems with split ends and the frizzies that come with.

Thank you, Chelsea! It’s much brighter red than I normally would go. Not sure what we can do about it since the company discontinued my shade and my colorist is stuck with what they’ve got. No one can miss me with this hair! So I’m glad that IT Haircare 12-in-One is doing its job!
My hair could use a good shot of oil just about now. I didn’t get it in my IPSY bag but I probably wouldn’t have tried it without a review like yours.

Marcia, I’ve had 3 different oil-based leave-ins that I’ve tried during the past 3 months, and I’ve had success with all three of them. The Abyssinian Oil in this one really intrigued me. It works so well, and it’s affordable, yay!
