Skechers Stretch Weave Slip-on Fashion Sneakers

At the end of the summer, I noticed the cute casual shoe-sneakers that my friend Audrey was wearing when we were having lunch at the beach club. They were adorable, and they looked so comfortable. I decided I needed to get a pair of my own.

When it comes to footwear, I guess I’m pretty old school. I own loafers, and I own running shoes and about a million pairs of pumps, but I had nothing like this. I don’t really even know what to call this type of footwear: a shoe? a sneaker? It’s a sneaker-shoe! Online, it’s referred to as a walking shoe or a fashion sneaker. Whatever!

Audrey couldn’t remember from which website she got hers, so I searched google images and found a website that sold them. Audrey’s were navy blue with some silver sparkles, and mine are black with some silver sparkles.

As you can see, the brand is Skechers. They’re made with what Skechers calls Stretch Weave and Memory Foam. They’re like walking on clouds because of the cushioned interior and the bouncy sole. They are unbelievably comfortable. And they look cute with jeans. Perfect shoes for walking around town or being a tourist somewhere. They’re also light as a feather so they won’t weigh you or your luggage down if you travel with them.

The overall style is called EZ Flex 2.0, and there are a number of versions with slightly different styling from mine, like a ballet flat and a Mary Jane or double strap with the same bouncy sole.

The version I got (slip-on with silver sparkles) is called Tada, and the style number is 22689. I bought mine at a website called 6pm.com. They arrived quickly and in good condition. I think I paid about $36 for them. Unfortunately, it looks like the Tada is out of stock on 6pm.com as well as on several other retailers like Walmart.com and Kohls.com because the EZ Flex is now up to 3.0, but IMO, they’re not as cute. (The Skechers website has about a million different styles of their comfort or performance sneakers, shoes and boots but no more EZ Flex 2.0.)

But before we give up on finding the EZ Flex 2.0 Tada, Amazon has an all-black version without sparkles as well as a super-cute hot pink version with a white sole without sparkles and a really wild multicolor version with either a black or grey background. I’m thinking that I might have to get the hot pink ones too for next summer before they disappear.

I know that many of us will soon be wearing boots instead of fashion sneakers, but I thought these comfortable cuties were worth mentioning.

Do these interest you? Do you have any cute comfortable shoes that you love?

Morning………☀️🍂🍁☕️I love Skechers. I have several pairs including their slippers. My husband and my 90 year old dad wear them too. My dad loves their slip ons. He goes to his local Swap Meet several times a week, and he says they are so comfortable. We have Skechers outlets here. Also QVC has really good prices and a nice selection of slip ons. ❤️😍

    1. Wow, you guys are certainly Skechers fans! This was my first Skechers purchase, but I’m sold. How lucky you are that there are Skechers outlets nearby! I think I will see if there’s an outlet in Kittery ME. But I really want those cute pinks ones before they’re gone 🙂

        Check out QVC too….🙋🏻💐

        1. I’m usually too cheap to pay the shipping on QVC. Do you get free shipping somehow from them, DiEtta?

          1. DiEtta says:

I don’t mind paying shipping/handling. With gas being over $3.00 a gallon, I think it’s saving me time and money. I tried on a pair at the store so I know my right size when ordering. They do have so really good prices too. Some styles at QVC you can’t find in the stores. (Remember when you own a business at the end it’s about making a profit) you sometimes pay for convenience too.

          2. I got an email this morning that there’s free shipping on the IT Cosmetics products on QVC. I wish I needed the products that are part of the 6 piece collection – that’s a steal for $59.94. I’ve gotta see if they have No. 50 Serum on sale on QVC – that would be fantastic if it is

  2. They look super comfy. I need to find something like that for work, so I might have to stroll by the Walmart webiste.

    1. I think this line would be perfect for work, so comfy!

  3. They look very comfortable! I love sneakers like this – easy to throw on if you are in a hurry, comfy and they can get by with dress slacks too! 🙂

  5. Those shoes are so cute and they look comfy. I can wear sneaks almost all year around. When we get snow, I will change to sturdier footwear but the snow melts fast and I’m soon back in my sneakers or ballet flats. 😀

  6. I have the worst feet and need incredible support. I’d buy those if I could wear them but alas I just have to wear ugly shoes.

    1. Oh, that’s a shame, Marcia. But you are right, these have little support. I bought a pair of Clark’s, I think, yesterday that look like a modern-day version of a clog meets slip-on/bootie with a little zipper on the side. I think they’re really cute, but they provide quite a bit of support too. I think that shoe manufacturers/designers are finally starting to make better looking, more comfortable, supportive shoes

  7. I a pair of Nike runners that are made of stretch fabric that I love, they are almost like wearing socks!

  13. These are unbelievably cute and they sound super comfortable too. I’d love a pair for myself but I doubt they have kids sizes because these would be great for my oldest who has wide feet.

    1. Kristina, Skechers has something similar for kids: Pure Flex Slip-on Sneaker. I just googled Skechers for girls, and it came up on Famous Footwear’s site. And Skechers has “Shiny Dancer” for girls too: https://www.skechers.com/en-us/girls-shoes?gclid=CjwKCAiAoqXQBRA8EiwAIIOWsnROFp0j665IfikxsQoBqKmgnNZGD3572_YQFSrff1r06FBowY5EAxoClWYQAvD_BwE
