Sleek Soft Hair with Treatment Products from White Sands

Last month, I wrote about my experiences with a new to me shampoo and conditioner duo from White Sands (review here).

I really liked the results as well as the easy-to-use pump bottles. As I get to the end of two squeeze bottles from another brand, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate White Sands’ pump bottles!

For most of my life, I pretty much used only shampoo and conditioner, and every now and then I do a deep conditioning treatment. A few years ago, I finally discovered the benefits of using post-conditioning treatment products, and what a difference they have made in both the look and the health of my hair! So I was psyched to try out a couple of the treatment products from White Sands professional haircare:

After shampooing and conditioning, I try to remove as much water as I can using my ever faithful Hubalou hair wrap, my all time favorite post-shampoo “towel” for drying my hair (see my review here!).

Next, I use White Sands The Cure 24/7 Hair Cell Renewal Serum. It’s a leave-in reconstructive treatment that has positively and negatively charged ingredients that come together to form a complex that makes hair stronger. In fact, it can “glue” split ends back together. It repairs damaged hair and makes it stronger, smoother and shinier, and the effects last through a few shampoos. You can use it throughout your hair or on any area that needs repair.

My hair is getting pretty long lately – beyond shoulder length. Because I missed my two-month haircut in April, it’s going to be even longer. Thus, IMHO the ends of my hair really could use some TLC. I pump out a few pumps of The Cure 24/7, a translucent gel-cream that feels great, and apply it on my ends. Maybe next time I’ll try putting on all my hair to see the difference. Putting it on my ends seems to me to make them thicker and stronger. The Cure is not the least bit greasy. I wash my hair every 4-5 days.

White Sands The Cure 24/7 Hair Renewal Serum contains 3.38 fl.oz./100 ml and is priced at $29.99. Available on the White Sands website.

Before blow-drying my hair, I use White Sands UnderCover Styling Spray, another leave-in in a pump bottle. This light as a feather spray provides protection from heat which is important to me since I use both a blow-dryer and a flat iron. It also helps control frizz. My hair gets huge in humidity, so I’m always looking for something to keep it sleek and smooth. With the silk proteins in the formula, UnderCover keeps my hair smooth, sleek, hopefully protected from heat, and shiny too.

White Sands UnderCover Styling Spray contains 8.5 fl.oz. (there’s also a big 33.3 fl.oz. size), and is priced at $21. Available on the White Sands website.

I’m really happy with White Sands cleansing and treatment products. Have you tried White Sands haircare yet?

Thanks for the review Allison. White Sands sounds like a good product and I would say, looking at the pic you posted, your ends do look thicker and don’t have the annoying fly aways that plague me.I have curly hair and my ends always end up needing a ton of product not to look dry and a bit unkempt.I have a ton of oils I’m currently using and they work decent enough for now but I will keep White Sands on my radar. On another note I do believe I’m going to get myself a hair towel so thanks for adding that bit in I did use your link to Amazon and it’s in my cart just waiting for me to buy. 😀 Have a great day!!! xo

    1. Ah, curly hair! Something I don’t know much about. Mine is coarse with some waves, but no pretty curls. Is Oribe a brand that specializes in curls?

White Sands products have been good for my hair. I really loved StriVectin Anti-Frizz shampoo and conditioner but now that I’m at the end of the squeeze bottles that don’t open, I can’t get the remaining product out. Disappointing. I love White Sands shampoo and conditioner just as much and the pumps make them a breeze to use in the shower. The Cure does make my ends feel thicker. I’ve used The Cure and UnderCover several times so far. Next time, I’m going to spray on more UnderCover than I have: it has silk proteins and I’d like to see if my hair can feel even silkier than it does.

  2. I love White Sands products, and always have a few in rotation! Their Orchid Bliss Shampoo and Conditioner are among my very favorite products from them!

    1. That’s what they claim, Stacie! I fortunately don’t have any split ends, but I can say that it makes the bottom three inches of my shoulder length hair feel stronger and more resilient. 🙂

  5. Your hair looks so lovely! I don’t think anything can fix split ends other than a trim.

    1. White Sands started at the end of the 90s, Shelley, so that’s about 20 years! They are known for professional haircare products. They started by doing all the hair shows, and I believe they still do! Their products are top notch. And get yourself a Hubalou hair wrap – with your pretty, pastel, long hair, you’d love it!
