May and June are two of the busiest gift giving months after December over the course of the year. There’s Mother’s Day coming up on Sunday, followed by graduations, and of course, wedding season. And unlike the traditional gift-giving winter holidays, these occasions are memorable and should be marked by a gift of something special.
For me, something memorable usually means jewelry. I have lots of jewelry, and I can pretty much tell you how I got every single piece. Some were gifts, others I bought for myself at a significant time. I like the memories that each piece brings back to me.
Soufeel Charm Bracelets
Just last week, a got an email from Soufeel, a brand that was new to me, asking if I would like to receive one of their charm bracelets for review. Soufeel is a company that is based in China. It crafts 925 Sterling Silver charm bracelets that are very similar to Pandora bracelets but sold at a fraction of the price. I do not own a Pandora bracelet. Call me silly, but several years ago when I saw a line of people waiting in line to get into a Pandora store at the mall, I decided I didn’t really want one. Everyone zigs, I tend to zag. But I love jewelry so I thought why not try this new-to-me, not a Pandora bracelet, charm bracelet.
I went to the Soufeel website and looked around. There was a lot to look at. In fact, I can while away the hours looking at their beautiful charms! My task was to choose a bracelet for them to send to me. I was given a dollar amount to stay within, and for some reason, I thought I was supposed to choose a completed bracelet (an example below).
So I chose one, and it was sold out. The folks at Soufeel told me I could build my own bracelet instead if I preferred. Woohoo! Much more fun and so happy to get exactly what I want!
I just want to mention that the complete bracelets arrive with the charms on. If you create one yourself, you have to put the charms on. Putting it together took literally less than 2 minutes, but if you’re giving the bracelet as a gift, it is something to be aware of.
Here’s a close-up of the bracelet I designed.
I love it. I’m a pink, red and glitter girl, so I designed the bracelet to reflect my preferences. Two heart charms, a stunning crown, a floral Murano bead, pink enamel. You could design your bracelet in lots of other colors or completely in silver, if you prefer. There are even some charms with 14K gold accents.
So what about the quality, you ask? Truth be told, I had no expectations in terms of the quality and craftsmanship of the bracelet I was about to receive. When I got my Soufeel charm bracelet, I was blown away! The bracelet itself and each charm is very well made and is very substantial. I know my charm bracelet will last for years to come.
The Presentation
In addition to the gorgeousness of the bracelet and charms, the presentation also exceeded my expectations. A charm bracelet from Soufeel really would make a lovely and impressive gift.
A heavy cardboard box with the Soufeel name arrived in a protective plastic outer wrap (it’s coming all the way from China, remember).
I opened the cardboard box, and inside was a heavy white paper presentation bag.
The bracelet came in a very heavy white presentation box on a black velvet pillow. The box also included a soft, black cleaning cloth to keep the bracelet and charms looking their best.
The Bracelets
The choice of bracelets themselves are:
- 925 Sterling Silver flexible, snake-style bracelets
- 925 Sterling Silver bangle bracelets
- woven leather bracelets in a variety of colors.
At first, I chose a bangle bracelet. I thought it had the most modern look. I measured my wrist and because of my size wrist, the folks at Soufeel thought I could get a better fit with the flexible bracelet. In fact, now that I have it, I’m glad I bought the flexible bracelet. I tend to wear it on my left and dominant hand along with my watch, and the flexible bracelet is the better choice for me.
The Charms
Oh, the charms! There are oodles of them. And there are even more now that the Spring New Arrivals have joined the lineup, and they can be pre-ordered at a special price for shipping at the beginning of June.
And did I mention that Soufeel charms can be used on Pandora bracelets too? Well, they can. So if you have a Pandora bracelet, and you want to add some more affordable but equally beautiful new charms, you can.
The charms come in three key types:
- beads with a hole through the center
- dangles: dangling pendants
- stoppers: narrow beads that stay in place to separate the charms.
The charms can be embellished with crystals, with enamel, filagreed, or cast into shapes. So difficult to choose!

Before I read all of your review I looked at the website and went right for hearts. That’s my favorite item too. The bracelet you put together is beautiful and the price is so much better than Pandora. My brother bought my mom a Pandora bracelet so I’d get her charms for it and I’d always spend more than I wanted. If she were still around I’d get her these instead.

It does look like Pandora, but what I didn’t mention is that the bracelet is clearly branded on the closure with the Soufeel name and it’s on the Murano glass bead as well. I like that the company is not ashamed of it’s name but is working on creating a brand 🙂
