Stocking Stuffers for Men

This year, I was sent a few personal care items that would make perfect stocking stuffers for men (and some for women too). I gave a couple of Jeff to try out!

Spongellé Homme

Spongelle has a men’s collection of body wash infused exfoliating body buffers appropriately called “Homme” or man in French. I was sent Spongellé Homme Body Buffer with Built-In Body Wash in the scent Brave. Here’s what Spongellé says about the collection of 3 masculine scents:

The one who is gallant, bold, and brave is a hero to those who see his inner strength. His youth and his wisdom inspired Spongellé’s® Homme Collection of Body Wash Infused Buffers. These three fragrances, created by a master perfumer, are blended into Spongellé’s® Body Wash Infused Buffer.

Though I haven’t tried it, “Brave” smells wonderful to me! Its notes are ones that I like:

  • top note: grapefruit
  • middle note: orange blossom
  • bottom note: amber

The other two buffers in the collection are Bold and Gallant.

Sadly, Jeff like most everything to be unscented, so I will either use it myself or give it away to a scent-loving man.

Like most of the other buffers, Homme comes with a black ribbon to hang the buffer to dry after use. Though the box says Homme provides 12+ washes, from my experience the buffers last about a month or so. It is priced at $16 on the Spongellé website where you can often get a discount code. There is also a larger size that promises 20+ washes for $22

Walton Wood Farm

Walton Wood Farm is a farm-based, family business in Ontario, Canada owned by Leslie and Peter to create non-farming income to fund the farm and save the barn that they bought as well as to create good rural-based jobs. Their products are cruelty-free, vegetarian or vegan, gluten-free, dye-free, as well as free of SLS, paraben and phthalates. They are made with natural ingredients like cocoa and shea butters and plant-based oils. They make body and personal care products for the whole family as well as products for pets. They also have a line of food products. Actually, they have a huge product line. Check out their website to learn more!

Their products are sold on their website where I think the prices are in Canadian dollars, at brick and mortar retailers in Canada and the U.S., and on Amazon.

The Redneck Beard & Shave Oil

The Redneck Beard & Shave Oil from Walton Wood Farm makes shaving a breeze. The bourbon and oak pre-shave and beard oil softens the beard and prepares the skin for a close and comfortable shave without leaving an oily residue. It’s:

• Vegan, Cruelty-Free
• Alcohol, SLS, Paraben and Dye-Free
• Contains Argan Oil and Jojoba Seed helps to nourish, hydrate, and heal hair and skin
• Contains Aloe helps to promote hair growth, and acts as a conditioner, leaving hair shiny and smooth.

INGREDIENTS: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Apricot Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Vitamin E, Essential Oils Blend

The brown glass dropper bottle contains 2.5 fl. oz./75g.

Heck, I just noticed that it is sold out on the website right now. Boo! But I have a feeling it will be back in stock soon. In the meantime, it is available online elsewhere including Hissy Fit and Fabulous for $22.95 and lots of other in-store locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Week From Hell Cracked Skin Salve

Week From Hell 100% Natural Cracked Skin Salve is a gender-neutral body care product that will work for anyone. Because Jeff often has cracked skin on his heels, I gave it to him to use. When I asked him how he liked it, he told me he only has cracked skin in the summer. Huh? That doesn’t make sense. I may end up asking for it back!

The translucent salve is designed to be used externally, anywhere one has extra dry skin. It can even be used for dry lips. It contains oodles of all-natural, plant-based oils. But for those like me who have trouble with peppermint oil, skip it for the lips. 😉

Cracked Skin Salve‘s handy, pocket-size tin holds 0.5 oz./15 g and is priced at $9.99 Canadian on their website or $14.99 USD on Amazon.

Ingredients: Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Carrot Seed  Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Pink Grapefruit Peel Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, Peppermint Oil, Rosemary Oil, Vitamin E, Fragrance

Cranberry Shea Butter Soap

Cranberry Shea Butter Soap isn’t just for men. It’s good for the entire family. The soap is highly moisturizing – you can feel the natural oils – and works up a good lather. It leaves skin feeling lightly moisturized and not at all tight or dry. It doesn’t have a super strong scent, but the fruity scent that it has initially disappears as the bar gets used and sits on the soap dish.

I liked this soap a lot. However, the red soap when wet drips a bit of red lather. I have those white inserts over the walls of my shower, and I had to be quick with the sponge before the red lather dried onto my shower insert (it does come off, though).

The Shea Butter Soap also comes in Woodland Pine, and that bar is a light teal shade. Each bar of both scents weighs in at 3.5 oz. They come in a lovely boxes adorned with wintry scenes that are perfect for the holidays and with either a poem or inspiring quotes. Made in Vermont. $8.95 per bar

“Me” Time & The Gentleman Hand Rescue

I received a tub of “Me Time” Hand Rescue with the tagline, “I’m doing me right now – with Mojito Magic. It has a great limey scent.

Though I got the woman-oriented version “Me Time”, there’s a man’s version as well. The Gentleman Hand Rescue with the witty tagline, Well-mannered hands have a softer touch. The men’s balm has a gentlemanly citrus, mahogany scent.

Both are very hydrating, white balms that sink into the skin.

• Vegan, Cruelty-Free, Gluten-Free
• SLS, Paraben and Dye-Free
• Contains a moisturizing blend of Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Green Tea
• Thick and rich, never greasy

Hand Rescue comes in a heavy plastic tub containing 4 oz. for $14 in the US and $17.99 in Canada.

INGREDIENTS: Deionized Water, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Grape Seed Oil, Japanese Green Tea, Vitamin E, Fragrance, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate, Optiphen, Glycerin, Allantoin

Molton Brown Body Wash

And as long as we’re talking about stocking stuffers for men, don’t forget about Molton Brown. They have so many masculine and gender-neutral scents. The Woody & Aromatic Christmas Cracker with four different masculine scented travel size body washes at $25 makes a perfect stocking stuffer or small gift.

And check out the other travel size discovery sets like the one I bought a couple of years ago – you can split them with your guy!
