They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. My friend, Laura S. (I actually have three friends who are Laura S. but hopefully she knows which one), has a wonderful sense of style. She was an artist and designer before her children were born, and now her home and her fashion sense reflect that creativity. When we went out to lunch a while back, she took out her polka dot wallet to pay her share of the bill, and I swooned seeing that adorable wallet.
I adore polka dots, and I’d never seen a polka dot wallet. So I tracked it down. I had to have one.
The polka dot wallet is the Visconti Saturn wallet. Visconti is a UK manufacturer of fine leather bags and accessories. My wallet is all leather, and it comes in two color schemes, each against a black background:
I chose Very Berry.
The wallet has a window for my license, and it has pockets for at least 9 credit cards.
It also has 4 small pockets and 3 more larger pockets that can hold additional credit cards or business cards or scraps of paper or whatever.
It has a zippered divided coin pouch, and two large pockets for paper bills. It has a ton of storage for pack rats like me!
The dimensions are 5.5″ x 3.5″. And it makes a great gift because it comes in a beautiful Visconti gift box.
Best of all for me is that the wallet goes so well with my hot pink and orange Dooney & Burke drawstring bag that I bought a couple of years ago that still looks brand new.
Though I bought the Visconti Saturn wallet a year ago (and still haven’t used it yet), the wallet is still available on Amazon, on Jet.com and other retailers.
There’s also a cute version with flowers instead of polka dots. And the Saturn wallet comes in a slightly smaller version called Pluto.
So if you’re in the market for a new wallet or a super cute gift, consider the Visconti Saturn wallet. Laura and I won’t mind!
Love it!! Just bought a new summer cross bag in the wonderful color of light blue. All my purses are in shades of blacks and browns so needed a change up for summer.
Isn’t it fun to have a purse in a shade other than black or brown? I’m exciting to switch to my hot pink bag along with my polka dot wallet. So nice to have color in our lives <3

That’s such a fun wallet to have! I agree with the saying, it used to me irritate before (when I was younger) when people “imitate” my style, like I know someone who would do that down to the littlest detail but maturity changed my mindset. Copy all you want because at the end it’s the person who makes the difference, not the clothes or makeups or anything in between. xox
I agree with you, Kathryne. When I first moved to this neighborhood, a neighbor came to visit me and told me that I had to meet Laura, now my friend, because we had such similar taste. And she was right. Fortunately, Laura didn’t mind that I bought the same wallet 😉
