Tatcha is truly one of my absolute favorite skincare brands. Tatcha is a brand with Japanese heritage. Though started by Victoria Tsai, an American woman of Japanese background, she has created a luxury skincare line based on cutting edge skincare science from Japan as well as Geisha skincare rituals that have existed for hundreds of years. The resulting products are nothing short of incredible!

I have written about three other Tatcha products over the past few months that I love. If you missed my posts, please take a look: Tatcha Luminous Dewy Mist and Tatcha Pore Perfecting Sunscreen SPF35 and Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder.

I have been lusting after Tatcha Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream for ages and ages.

Have you seen their stunning blue facial moisturizer?

If you have, you know it! It is unique among moisturizers. I was so fortunate to receive a jar from Tatcha to try out a few weeks ago, and it has exceeded my expectations. Just look at the color!

But beyond the aesthetics, this is one amazing moisturizer, especially for someone like me with dry, sensitive skin. Here’s what Tatcha has to say about it.

What it is:
This anti-aging moisturizer is rich in Indigo extract, Colloidal Oatmeal and Sophora Japonica extract to calm, comfort and restore skin’s natural resiliency, making it suitable for sensitive skin.

Why it’s different:
Contains a soothing blend of botanicals known to reverse the signs of aging, even for easily irritated skin. Includes 3% Colloidal Oatmeal, the highest percentage currently available for an over-the-counter moisturizer. Awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance™

Who it’s for:
For all skin types, especially sensitive skin showing signs of rosacea, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis or allergies. Non-comedogenic.

Now that the weather is getting colder and the wind has definitely picked up, my skin is feeling drier and more sensitive. The moisturizer I loved for the summer is not appropriate for now and the months to come. Tatcha Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream arrived in the nick of time. This moisturizer makes an instant difference in how my skin looks and feels. It’s a thick, highly emollient, non-greasy, fragrance-free cream. A little goes a long way. And it absorbs immediately.

A full size jar of Tatcha Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream, 50 ml/1.7 oz. is priced at $135. Though pricey, this moisturizer will last me quite a while. Plus the results are worth it.

When I found the photos I took when the Indigo Cream arrived a few weeks ago, I noticed in one of he pictures that I also received Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum.

How in heaven’s name did I miss it? Well, I’m thrilled beyond words! Perfect to round out my cold weather skincare. I’ll review it separately, but I just pumped out a little of the hydrating gel and applied it to my face and it’s wonderful, hydrating and protective.

In addition to the gorgeous Indigo Cream and Hydrating Serum, Tatcha has stunning gift sets that are perfect for holiday gift giving. Tatcha’s indigo blue patterned packaging often inspired by Japanese-handmade paper is gorgeous any time of the year, but the Tatcha presentation makes for fabulous luxury gifts that any skincare lover would be thrilled to receive.
