I use several of the wonderful products from The A Method and want you to learn about The A Method C Antioxidant Gel (20%). This particular product is one that Dr. Aster believes will protect you skin the most along with a mineral sunscreen. Why not take advice from an expert in the dermatologist world. The most interesting thing about The A Method C Antioxidant Gel (20%) is that it eliminates water from its formula. Why? “An anhydrous or waterless formulation preserves the efficacy of Vitamin C, meaning you are using a more powerful product.”
Vitamin C is an ingredient that can be very tricky. It shouldn’t be exposed to light or it will break down. Make sure that any skincare item you use that contains Vitamin C is in a container that can’t be affected by light. In addition if it comes in contact with water it breaks down. Be sure to avoid any product that turns brown since that means it’s contaminated.

The A Method C Antioxidant Gel 20% has a water-like look but not feel. It’s a very lightweight gel that is silky on my skin. I apply it and continue with my other skincare. It doesn’t ball up under skincare or foundation which is a giant plus. I’ve been following it with The A Method Protect SPF 30, a mineral sunscreen. I have extremely pale skin that burns easily and I’m happy to have this sunscreen (review upcoming).

Thank you, Marcia. I really see a difference in my skin when I use a Vitamin C serum. Sometimes I can’t in the winter if my skin gets too try. I will try this.
