The battle of the brow serums: RapidBrow vs RevitaLash

    I bought these

Obviously this is just one person’s opinion but I feel pretty strongly about which brow serum works best for me. I have very stubborn brows. I never gave two hoots about them until I started losing hair due to chemo drugs. At that point the brows on my face started disappearing as did my lashes and hair. Not gone but not the same. I had taken them for granted for all my life and now I can no longer do that.

I’ve tried so many brow serums that I can’t remember them all. GrandeLash’s GrowBrow seemed like it would be a winner since it had such a great reputation. First I had a travel size that lasted about a week, at $38 it is the worst buy but I had bought it in a kit so I also had the full size which took the sting out. Unfortunately I didn’t see any growth at all – none! So no recommendation.

But this review is really about my experiences with both RAPID BROW Eyebrow Enchancing Serum and the newer REVITA LASH ADVANCED Eyebrow Conditioner. I’ve used Rapid Brow in the past and lately I’ve wondered why I ever strayed. RAPID BROW Eyebrow Enchancing Serum is my brow serum of choice.

Not only is it the most effective for me but the price is amazing. RapidLash is a product that you should compare prices since I’ve paid between $12 and $30 for it. At any price it’s worked best for me but to find it at Walmart.com for $7.48 as of today is phenomenal.

How to use:

  • To prepare for the application, start with a clean, dry area
  • Apply using the brush applicator along your natural brow line with a few quick strokes, the bristle brush helps set and tame the brows, while the serum delivers conditioning agents
  • For best results and added benefits throughout the day, apply once in the morning and once in the evening
  • Recommended for daily use to maintain the appearance and condition of your brows

They’ve changed the brush over the years and it’s shorter but just as efficient. No waste.

I only apply at night and have seen a great difference. I’ll never have the brows I used to but as long as I have brows I’m ahead of the game.

Now I want to talk about RevitaBrow Advanced. I saw an ad for it and decided to buy it in spite of the higher price. After all RevitaLash is very popular. The trial size is $55 and I got 20% off so I bit the bullet.

WHAT IT DOES:

This award-winning and category-leading serum features proprietary, scientifically advanced technology to strengthen lashes and protect against breakage while improving flexibility and shine, resulting in dramatic looking eyelashes.

Sadly for me I never saw results in spite of my high hopes for this serum. I don’t think it was worth the money and I don’t think it was worth my time.

I’m back to RAPIDBROW EYEBROW ENHANCING SERUM and at Walmart’s price I don’t think you can go wrong. Other retailers carry this but comparison shop.

I read your review with great interest, as I am a big fan of RapidLash. So glad to hear that RapidBrow is still the winner for you! Thanks for the tip about the sale on Walmart.com. At that price, I must get a tube!

  2. You know, Granda LASH MD works for me, but the brown stuff never worked for me at all! I need to check out rapid brow. I used to use their lash serum but the grande one worked better for lashes for me

  4. Hi, Allison – Thanks so much for this information. I’ve heard many a time that castor oil can grow brows. I’ve only tried it and didn’t like having shine in my brow bone and having to take off my Maybelline 36-hour tattoo brow pencil. Lol! I think I want to get some RapidBrow immediately! If you stop using it, do you lose the brows you gained from it? LTKI – Angie, http://www.YourTrueSelf.com

    1. I think it is best to go on a maintenance program (about once a week) after you get to where you want to be. I sort of stopped using it for at least a year, and my brows could use some help! Check the ingredients on whichever brow serum you decide to go with to make sure there are no prostaglandins in the formula. I switched my lash serum to Scorolash for that reason.
