Oh, I got the cutest package this week from PUR Cosmetics just in time for the height of fall and Halloween. I opened the box and inside nestled amongst the leopard print paper were two adorably purrrrrrfect sets of kitty ears: leopard print ears and a sexy black lace set of ears with an attached veil.
Aren’t they the cutest? I’m going to be seeking out an invitation to a party this Halloween!
In addition to the sweet surprises, there was a fabulous, slim, lightweight silver metal palette with a huge mirror on the inside: Transformation Sculpting eye Shadow & Cheek Palette. Absolutely purrrrrfect for this redhead, or for anyone who loves warm fall shades.
These are harvest shades, and they are perfection. The palette includes 4 powder shadows in a variety of finishes including one that makes a gorgeous highlighter IMHO and 3 creams: a fabulous peach blush, a contour and a black/grey eyeliner that can also be used for a smoky eye.
The shades are very autumnal and very pigmented:
- pale peach shimmer shadow – this is the one that I think makes a lovely highlighter as well
- matte brick shadow
- medium brown shadow that has some copper flecks in it for a subtle glint
- deep yellow gold shimmer shadow
- my favorite shade of peach cream blush
- grey/black cream/gel eyeliner or shadow
- medium brown/milk chocolate cream contour that I would also use as an eyeshadow.
I love the versatility of this palette. And I love the fact that it must have been designed with me in mind 😛 Not only does it have some of my favorite hues but it has creams! You know I love creams. Plus the powder shadows are so buttery and easy to apply and blend that they could almost be creams.
The Transformation palette was love at first sight for me. I went right to it! I applied the shadows on top of eye primer as I always do. The shadows do not crease and they are very long-lasting – I have worn these shadows for more than 9 hours and they look the same when I take them off as when I put them on.
Here’s a look I did using the pale peach shadow on my lids and as a highlighter at the top of my cheeks and I used the matte brick red shadow in the crease and V. I used the peach blush, and I did a bit of contouring along my jaw, the sides of my nose and under my cheekbones with the easy to blend contour. I admit that it’s so much easier to remember to contour if the contour is so easily available as part of the palette.
On my lashes, I used the mini-version of PUR Fully Charged Mascara from the PUR Love Your Selfie 2 Palette that I must review soon. (I reviewed the full size PUR Fully Charged Mascara last winter here).
Transformation Sculpting Eye Shadow & Cheek Palette is available now for $32 on purcosmetics.com and at Ulta Beauty.
Is this handy fall palette that’s perfect for travel or purse something you’d consider? Are they your shades? What about those adorable kitty ears?
I saw this palette on your FB page and it looks amazing! This is a palette that I will get a heck ton of use out too.

Thanks Honey! Those ears are the cutest. Our friend who gave big Halloween parties moved away, but I still wear a costume to answer the door and give out candy. I’ll be wearing these! And the palette has the perfect shades for me. Hope you’ll be back on the list

It’s so handy to have everything together in one place in shades I can wear. The matte brick shade is perfect with my coloring to give the neutrals some punch, and the yellow gold is actually brighter than most shades I wear. I’m having fun with it!
Such a gorgeous Autumn palette! The look that you created is absolutely stunning, Allison!
