RoC Skincare was very generous to send me 3 more jars of RoC Retinol Correxion MAX Daily Hydration Creme, a product I reviewed last winter. It’s called MAX because the formula contains the maximum amount of retinol, an ingredient that dermatologists say is a must-have anti-aging skincare ingredient. Although RoC has introduced a fragrance-free version of Daily Hydration Creme, I must point out that the three jars I am giving away do have a fresh but noticeable fragrance that fades when it’s on my skin.
The timing couldn’t be better. Now that winter is officially here and the holidays are over, we should all be giving our skin a little more TLC. Retinol already built-in to an anti-aging moisturizer? Absolutely! And it has a rich consistency that is perfect for dry, very skin or mature skin right now when the air is colder and often drier both indoors and out.

Funny that you should mention your humidifier, Gloria. Yesterday when I had my furnace serviced, I found out my after-market humidifier has not been working since at least last December or before, and that it has a leak. Grrrrr. Reading about using a humidifier is ironic because last month I bought a small one to use in my bedroom. With that being said I have used Roc before but not recently so would love to try it again. Ugh to Michigan winters which do a number on my skin. Allison, I know you can relate with your Massachusetts winters.

My skin tends to be dehydrated, and more so in the winter. I am looking for an effective anti-aging (anti-wrinkle) cream to use at night, so the Retinol I believe is a great ingredient for this purpose!

i remember when ROC came out. it has been around a long time so it proves to be effective. i am in my mid 60’s so i am always looking for new skin products to try to help with the aging. i have a little discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles. my skin get dry in the winter months.
Sandy, I think I discovered RoC on one of my first trips to Paris a million years ago. I’ve always had a thing for French pharmacy skincare. Also,you recently reviewed a product that had buckthorn in the ingredient list,do you recall the product? I’ve heard great things about buckthorn oil.

Laura, the Derma E Sage & Lavender Face Oil has sea buckthorn in it. I love this oil, but you may also want to look at SIBU Hydrating Facial Serum that I’ve heard good things about and the sea buckthorn is higher up the ingredient list. They offer a 20% off coupon (it’s more expensive than the Derma E oil). Badger also has an affordable Sea Buckthorn Face Oil that I haven’t tried yet. LMK if you get one and what you think.
