Time-Saving Cleanser for Sensitive Skin: Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme

There’s a new trend in cleansers that I absolutely love: cleansers that are gentle and that remove makeup. One of my top tier skincare brands, Exuviance, has gotten on the bandwagon with new Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme. Yay! I received a full sized tube from Brandbacker to try out in exchange for an honest review.

Made for sensitive skin, Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme, is great for any skin type but it’s especially soothing for those of us who have finicky skin that can’t handle being dried out from a cleanser that’s too strong. This multitasker:

  • cleans and moisturizers
  • removes makeup, including eye makeup
  • is soap-free.

Also, it’s dermatologist and allergy-tested.

I love that I don’t have to use a separate eye makeup remover. All-in-one is such a time-saver. It melts off even IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara that’s a pretty heavy-duty mascara. Plus, it leaves my eye lashes feeling soft and hydrated.

The new Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme contains polyhydroxy acids, ingredients that appear in many Exuviance skincare products. They provide the same benefits as AHAs but without the irritation. I’m all in for that! The product even looks gentle. It’s a medium weight white gel-creme that spreads easily and melts makeup on contact. It washes clean, but it leaves skin feeling lightly moisturized.

If you have sensitive skin like I do or if you’re looking to save time by eliminating a step in your skincare routine, you must give Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme a try. It comes in a  big 7.2 fl. oz./212 ml tube that will last for a long time. Priced at $32, it can be purchased on the NeoStrata (sister brand and parent company) website, at Ulta and other online retailers. Not tested on animals. Made in the U.S.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Isododecane, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/ Dicaprate, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl Isononanoate, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, PEG-100 Stearate, Triundecanoin, Cetyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Stearyl Alcohol, Gluconolactone, Cetearyl Glucoside, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Althaea Officinalis Root Extract, Chamomile Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Propylene Glycol, Laureth-7, Polyacrylamide, Disodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, Methylparaben, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Benzoate.

  1. This actually sounds pretty good even though I am very sceptical about using one cleanser to remove my whole face of makeup including mascara. But since this is a sister brand of NeoStrata, I have no doubt I would love it too. I seems to get along really well with their products.
