Several months ago, I wrote about Treets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel, Nourishing Spirits (here).

It’s a liquid that foams up on contact with water, or comes out of the can as foam. And I mean FOAM! I was blown away by this stuff! The Sakura foaming shower gel from RITUALS had been my favorite (reviewed here), but truth be told, Treets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel is just better. Hands down better. The foam comes out of the nozzle much easier than the RITUALS foam. The Treets Traditions foam is so foamy, thick and luxurious, it’s amazing!

The scent of Treets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel that I initially received a few months ago was a melon scent from the Nourishing Spirits line. I like melon, and it was a nice, soft melon scent.

A couple of months ago, I got to try the Treets Traditions Body Oil from the Relaxing Chakras product line.

Each of Treets Traditions 5 product lines have different scents. The Relaxing Chakras Body Oil, a terrific lightweight easy absorbing body oil (reviewed here) had a lovely scent that I thought smelled like cherry blossom scent. I was on the hunt for a scent similar to the RITUALS Sakura Shower Gel, a Japanese cherry blossom scent. I’ve been eager to try Treets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel in Relaxing Chakras ever since.

I was thrilled when Treets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel Relaxing Chakras arrived on my doorstop. Tweets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel Relaxing Chakras, neversaydiebeauty.com

As with the first container I tried, the foam is incredible. It’s perfect for soaping up in the shower, and it is a perfect shaving foam if you shave in the shower. Just perfection. The Treets Traditions foam is still superior to RITUALS Spa.Tweets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel foam, neversaydiebeauty.com

The Foaming Shower Gel doesn’t dry out my skin though I always follow up with body lotion or butter. The Relaxing Chakra version contains Traditional Asian Rose to “balance skin’s moisture” and rice bran oil to help “brighten skin”.

The Relaxing Chakras scent is a sweet, almost powdery scent that’s close to the cherry blossom scents I’ve tried from a variety of brands. Like the Treets Traditions Nourishing Spirits scent, it is light and it doesn’t linger on my skin. If you’re a person who doesn’t like overpowering scents, you’ll love both Relaxing Chakras and Nourishing Spirits scents. Even though I like stronger scents too, I like Relaxing Chakras because cherry blossom is a light scent, period. When I use Relaxing Chakras Foaming Shower Gel, I like to follow up with one of my cherry blossom body sprays including the Rituals Sakura Body Mist. It certainly compliments the Relaxing Chakras Treets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel well.

Treets Traditions Foaming Shower Gel contains 6.76 fl. oz./200 ml and is priced at $15. It’s available on the Treets Traditions website, or you can find it at Ulta and Ulta.com where it is currently on sale for $12.

Treets Traditions is a natural bath and body care line from The Netherlands that is based on centuries old skincare traditions. Free of SLS, SLES, parabens, silicones, colourants, and mineral oil.

  2. Hands down better than my beloved Rituals?! Clearly I need to try Treets! You have been tempting me with their products for months, but now I really need to try their products! You know how much I love products like this!

    1. In terms of how the canister/nozzle operates, how the foam foams up, and the quality of the foam itself, Treets Traditions wins unequivocally. Rituals has the edge on the scent since their scent is stronger and more lasting. But I have struggled with the canister/nozzle and the runny foam on 3 Rituals cans so even though I have one more waiting in the wings, I’m unlikely to buy another.

  3. This line sounds wonderful. I don’t think I’d like the relaxing chakras scent but I would love the melon one!!!

    1. I do like the Rituals Sakura cherry blossom scent – so much that I bought the fragrance mist and I’ll eventually get the body lotion. But I had a hard time with the nozzle and the liquid doesn’t foam up nearly as well as Treets. But I’ll be eager to find out how the canister/nozzle works for you. Molton Brown is hard to beat!

  18. Foam products are always just that extra bit of fun you don’t get with non-foaming options! I really like the smell of cherry blossoms so I need to check this out!
