As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not ready for fall yet. We need a do-over, because in July it rained every weekend and several days during each week. But time marches on regardless of my opinion. And surprise, surprise, Ulta’s Fall 21 Days of Beauty is here already.

I got an Ulta catalogue in the mail early last week, but I didn’t notice anything about the 21 Days on the cover. But I was busy, and I didn’t have a chance to really look at it. So the email I received this morning was what alerted me to the sale.
Fall 2021 21 Days of Beauty
In the past, I used to complain that Ulta always had the same brands and even the same products on sale during the 21 Days. Well, many of the tried and true brands are still there: Mario Badescu, IT Cosmetics, First Aid Beauty, Tarte, Clinique, Buxom, Benefit, Kylie etc. etc., but there are new brands as well. And Ulta is reprising their “indie brands” days. Plus, this time there are a couple of days with surprise discounts – that seems intriguing to me, and it gives me a reason to check back in.
Sunday was Day 1, and I already made my first purchase. FOREO Mini Luna 3 was on sale for 50% off, $79.50 instead of $150. Because I own a first generation FOREO that has only two speeds, I decided to spring for the Luna Mini 3 that has, I think, 12 intensities. I had wanted the Mint color. Although I put it in my basket thinking I would come back later and add other things I might need, I didn’t actually add any other items and by 9pm Mint was sold out. So I settled for pink, the same color as my original FOREO and my FOREO IRIS eye massager. Not the end of the world. Also, I had $30 in Ulta reward dollars, so I applied them to this purchase. For $50, I will be very happy with my new Mini Luna 3 (and if not, I’ll return it).
On September 14, First Aid Beauty’s fabulous cream Face Cleanser will be half off, $11, and I will pick that up. Not sure if there’s anything else on sale that I specifically need. Nevertheless, I think it’s worth your time to click on ulta.com or check out the catalogue, if you got one, to see if there’s anything that’s a beauty steal for you.

Gabrielle, this is my second FOREO. I have the original, first generation FOREO Luna, and I still love it. But 10 years later, the FOREO Luna does much more than it did originally. I decided to buy the Mini Luna 3 (on sale for half off!!!!) because it’s a good size for me/my face, and it has at least 12 intensities compared to my first generation Luna that has only 2. I also own a couple of Michael Todd cleansing brushes that are similar to Clarisonic, but even with the brush head for sensitive skin, I still can’t handle using a brush on my face. The silicone nodules for the FOREO are so much better for my skin.
