Valentia True Glow Eye Cream

Last year, I tried Valentia Even Glow Vitamin C Serum, and I liked it a lot. it was effective, easy to use and affordable. When I had an opportunity to try Valentia True Glow Eye Cream via the blogger association, Tomoson, I jumped at the chance.

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream is what I would describe as a medium weight flesh-toned or peach colored cream.

It comes in an amber glass pump bottle, and one pump is enough for me to use under my eyes as well as on the entire orbital area including the lids. It’s not greasy or sticky. It’s a lovely eye cream.

I have very sensitive eyes, and some eye creams that I’ve tried in the past actually burn my skin. Valentia True Glow Eye Cream is very mild and soothing. It feels so good on my dry skin.

On the bottle, it says, “complete anti-wrinkle eye care to nourish the skin, diminish dark circles and reduce puffiness.”

I have been using Valentia True Glow Eye Cream only for a couple of weeks so I cannot speak about long-term changes. I don’t have under eye puffiness, and I still have dark circles that seem to be affected by the amount of sleep I get and the amount of stress I’m experiencing. Also, at this stage of the game, I have realistic expectations for what any skincare product can do. I know it cannot really turn back the clock for me. Valentia True Glow Eye Cream definitely hydrates and nourishes the skin around my eyes without irritating my sensitive skin. Importantly, Valentia True Glow Eye Cream used on the loose skin above my eyelids helps the skin look firmed and tightened. That’s what I’m really looking for in an eye cream. So I am satisfied!

Also important to me is that Valentia products are made with natural and organic ingredients. It contains ingredients that I like and look for in the skincare products I use: Vitamin C that evens skin tone and reduces wrinkles, Astaxanthin that neutralizes damage due to free radicals, and Organic Rosehip Oil for hydration. In fact, those ingredients are also in one of the serums that I’m using now on my face. Glad to be able to use them around my eyes too!

Ingredients: Deionized Aqua (Water), Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Glyceryl Stearate (Plant Derived), Cetearyl Alcohol (Plant Derived), Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Globularia Cordifolia Callus Culture Extract (plant stem cells), Undaria Pinnatifida Cell Culture Extract, Stearic Acid (Plant Derived), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Isopropyl Palmitate (Palm Oil), Ubiquinone (CoQ10), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Proprietary Silk Protein Amino Acid Blend, Propriety Essential Oil Blend, Wildcrafted Euphrasia Officinalis (Eyebright), Helichrysum Italicum (Helichrysum Essential Oil), Wildcrafted Camelia Sinensis (Green Tea), Pentylene Glycol, Phospholipids, Wildcrafted Resina Propoli (Propolis), Organic Olea Europaea (Olive Oil), Melissa Officinalis (Melissa Essential Oil), Proprietary Antiox-Berry Blend, Haematococcus Pluvialis extract (Astaxanthin), Proprietary Wild Flower Blend, Sucrose Stearate, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Lecithin, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Decyl Glucoside (plant derived), Glyceryl Caprylate (Natural Preservative), Sodium Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide (pH Modifier), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), Ethylhexylglycerin (Preservative), Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Extract (Natural Preservative).

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream is cruelty-free, and it’s made in the U.S. The bottle contains 1.18 fl. oz./35 ml. It’s sold on Amazon and it’s priced at $24.99.
