Viseart Sale Alert: 30-40% Off

I Bought This, Affiliate Links

Today starts Viseart Paris’ Spring Sale. If you don’t own any of Viseart’s fantastic eyeshadow palettes, this may be your chance!

Although they make all kinds of makeup, Viseart Paris is best known for professional pressed powder eyeshadow palettes. Viseart Paris features makeup that is manufactured in small batches in France. It started when a well-known makeup artist mentioned that he was unable to find top quality eyeshadows for his professional work.

I first learned about Viseart probably at least 10 years ago from Norah, a former beauty blogger and full-time working makeup artist in New York. She spread the word among all of us blogger colleagues that Viseart shadows were the best. Since then, I have read that Viseart’s matte formula is the best in the business.

The shadows are:

  • triple-milled
  • very pigmented
  • easy to apply and blend
  • have minimal powder in the pan (especially those in the full size palettes)
  • stay on for hours and hours.

My Viseart Palettes

Full Size Palettes in the Sturdy Plastic Clamshell Box: now named SlimPro

Because the full-size eyeshadow palettes are expensive, I waited and waited till I found a sale, on the professional cosmetics site Alcone, that brought the price closer to what I could justify spending. I bought the Neutral Mattes palette, and I still love it. I get compliments whenever I wear those shades, especially the apricot and the gray. During another sale, I picked up the original Cool Mattes palette that has now been replaced with the similar Cool Mattes 2 SlimPro. $80

In the time since I made those purchases, Viseart has been launching lots of smaller sized palettes in less expensive cardboard packaging targeted to the non-professional crowd. In fact, now there are Petite sizes of the Neutral Mattes and Cool Mattes palettes (as well as the rest of the Mattes line). If those had existed when I was shopping, I would have bought the Petites since I will never use up the full size palettes.

Theory

Smaller size Theory palettes were the first entries in the more affordable and more transportable category.

I bought two of them: cool-toned Minx (couldn’t find Minx on the current website) and warm-toned Siren. Looking at them now, they are rather similar, but I love them both for their peachy goodness. There’s also a lovely color way, Amethyst. $45

Petits Fours

When the little quads called Petits Fours launched, I knew I needed at least one. I bought Lilas, a cool-toned mix of shimmers and mattes. Oh so portable, this is the one I think I use the most because I love the lilac and grayish shades and the tiny size. There are seven other color ways if Lilas isn’t for you. $25

Edits

For a long time, I had wanted to buy the full size Paris Nudes palette. The romantic, ethereal “neutrals” come in a variety of finishes: matte, metallic, shimmer, and satin. I just love these gentle shades.

I was so happy that they introduced this smaller version called Paris Edit with 12 easily removable mini-pans (in case you want to depot them and make your own palette) at slightly less than half the price, $39.

There are two other color choices available, Dark Edit and Spritz Edit.

Viseart’s Other Shadow Palette Offerings

Etendu

I don’t own any of the palettes in the “Étendu” (meaning “extend”) category, so I am not exactly sure of their size. But on the website, they look like they are the same size as the Petite palettes, and they come with 12 shades. Some of the Étendu palettes are remixes of their iconic full size palettes, but some have newer, jazzier shadows like duo chromes. They’re priced slightly higher than the Petites at $44, perhaps because of the decorated cardboard packaging.

Petits Pro

There are 7 rich color ways of the Petits Pro palette, each featuring 8 shades in a mix of mattes, satins and shimmers. $30

9 Pan Palettes

On the Viseart website, there are 3 color ways of a 9 pan palette with a full size mirror: Tryst, Golden Hour and Libertine. I am not quite sure, but they may come in a plastic clamshell, but don’t quote me. $49

Grande Pro 1X

Targeted to the professional community, the Grande Pro collection was launched about a year ago. Recently, Viseart introduced an “extension” palette: Grande Pro 1X, a large 35 pan palette of matte shades. For more flexibility that pros often need, the shades can be used in a number of ways: on eyelids, eyebrows, sculpting on the face, or as blush. The shades are a mix of neutrals, cool-tones, warm-tones, and roses. $150

Viseart Sale

To be honest, I don’t have any advance info on the Viseart sale other than it is on their website where you can find the largest selection of their products and color ways. There are 4 pages of eyeshadows alone to look through! It turns out the discount on many eyeshadow products is 30-40% off! This is big.

If you want to treat yourself for Mother’s Day with some of the nicest eyeshadows around, check out the Viseart Paris sale!
