Weekly Roundups

Welcome 2024 Beauty Spotlight Team Roundup!

It’s just the first week of January, and I’m behind already! But I did manage to write at least a couple of posts, one of which I submitted to this week’s BST.

I was supposed to have an appointment with my ophthalmologist back in November, but he cancelled. I got another appointment in December, but I was exposed to someone with covid so I thought I should cancel (fortunately, I didn’t get it!). Friday was supposed to be the next rescheduled date, but he cancelled again! Usually, an eye doctor appointment is no big deal, but my doctor was supposed to put a new set of plugs in my tear ducts to help with my dry eye and I am three months behind with all of the cancellations. Plus, the plugs either dissolve after a couple of months, or they work their way out and disappear. So as a result, I have had a headache almost every day this week. Thus, no blogpost on certain days. On Monday, I will call and reschedule yet again. Or I will find a new ophthalmologist closer to home, though I have been seeing this one for at least 20 years and I like him.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed your holidays and are getting back in the swing of things! Hope you’ll take a peek at this week’s Beauty Spotlight Team weekly roundup.

Hygge (pronounced hue-gah) is a Danish concept based on living cozily and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. It is a mindful and minimalist way of life. Winter is the best time of year to get cozy. So Angie at Your True Self Blog decided it’s a good time to explore hygge style. Since comfort is key, age doesn’t matter!

Sorry about the cancelled appointments and the headaches. I’ve been there and it adds anxiety to your life.

    1. Thank you, Marcia xo I think the headaches are due to dry eye. I hope my next appointment doesn’t get cancelled 🙂
