There are designated days for just about everything. I just learned that there’s a National Pink Day. Being that pink is my favorite color this will be a happy day for me.

Pink is a soft romantic color that mostly represents femininity. The warmth of pink adds tenderness and care, according to color theory. Pink blends the ferocity of red with the peace and soothing nature of white, representing hope and caring. It is believed that pink can calm one’s spirit and counter aggression, neglect, and resentment.

Anything from hanging a poster of the LGBTQ pink triangle in the break room, to becoming a yearly executive-level donor to the International Day of Pink’s coffers, it’s time to “think outside the red.”

This spring/summer I’ve grown to love pastels. I have dozens of dark polishes but I now want to lighten up. That’s when ella + mila came into my life. Serendipity is a fabulous shade and ella + mila wears beautifully for me.
I haven’t been well enough to go to the nail salon often and find it doesn’t matter with these two brands. My ILNP manicure shown is three weeks old. I have growth but no other problems. Therefore I can’t rave enough about ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) and ella + mila.
