Who Doesn’t Need A Little Lift? Aceology Lifting Treatment Mask

Every time I get annoyed with Ipsy, I remember that I have discovered some really terrific beauty products through it. Now that I’m doing the every other month Ipsy Plus bag subscription, I don’t feel as overwhelmed as I did earlier this year with the monthly subscription. BTW, I just looked through the Ipsy shopping pages, and they’re selling the Riki Loves Riki Riki Cutie Mirror for $29.99. That’s the mirror I bought and reviewed here a few weeks ago. Even with the sale, I paid way more for it on the Riki website.

I digress. In my November Plus Bag, I received Aceology Lifting Treatment Mask. Although I had never heard of the brand (it’s Australian), it was an item that I chose. What appealed to me was that it was a “lifting” mask.

I’ve ended up loving this mask. First, it is fun to use. It is a gold-green cream that can be applied with fingers or brush. I try to apply it fairly thickly since it’s a peel-off mask. I love the way it looks, lol. (And I love these hideous mask pix!)

You’re supposed to leave it on for about a half hour, so I usually apply it and then watch something on TV while it dries. It tightens on my skin, but it isn’t uncomfortable. Though I can’t always peel it off in one piece like the Ipsy product description says, it isn’t hard to peel off even if it comes off in a few pieces.

After I take it off, my skin is definitely glowing, tightened, and clean as a whistle without being dry. It exfoliates and cleans pores while it’s at it. Good stuff! I try to remember to use it once a week.

Here’s what the Aceology website says about it:

  • SMOOTHES FINE LINES & WRINKLES

Collagen, a powerful protein is essentially what keeps us looking young.

  • BRIGHTENS

Peptides switch your cells on, boosting skin elasticity and promote cellular repair. These all-rounder amino acids have energise under achieving cells.

  • ADDS RADIANCE

Hardy Orange targets the deeper layers for a more intense clarification.

  • FIRMS

Adenosine is proven anti-wrinkle ingredient that increases elasticity and bounce in skin.

I am really happy that I got Aceology Lifting Treatment Mask. The tube contains 65 ml, and the regular price on the Aceology website is a rather pricey $69. It’s cruelty-free and vegan. I just checked Ipsy to see if they were selling it, but though there were other Aceology masks available, this one sadly was not among them. I will keep my eyes peeled in case it comes back because I wouldn’t mind having a backup especially at the Ipsy price. I guess women who got it from Ipsy are selling it on Mercari, Ebay and Poshmark because it’s available on those sites for cheap. Although it kind of bugs me that Ipsy subscribers do that, you can buy it for between $8 and $15.

    1. The Aceology Lifting Mask really is a great discovery for me! And yes, so nice to not be so overwhelmed with beauty products 😉

  2. Sounds fun! I love a good peel off mask too. A shame they dont have it for sale on the ipsy site! I’d be inclined to ask if they will add it but I’m not sure how good their CS is on answering those things!

    1. That’s a great idea, Claudia, thanks. Actually, the CS at Ipsy is pretty responsive.

  3. So many people buy the specials and subscriptions just to sell on places like Ebay. This seems like an excellent mask but the full price is pretty steep.
