I’m a day late and at least a dollar short! A terrific promotion from Zoya just ended yesterday. So sorry that I didn’t get to this in time. Zoya was offering 4 nail polishes or 4 lipsticks with a purchase and $15 shipping fee or free shipping with a $30 purchase. It was a great deal that I passed on.
But if you haven’t yet tried Zoya’s relatively new lipstick line – The Perfect Lipstick, I wanted to tell you a little bit about it.
First, I must thank Kristina from The Feminine Files blog for her lovely and unexpected gift!
Kristina sent me a tube of Zoya’s new lipstick in Paisley, a shade that I had been drooling over.
When I looked up Zoya Lipstick on Google, it showed me two lip swatches from her review of the entire collection that I immediately knew were Kristina’s lips. She should be a lipstick model for sure!
Paisley is described as “blush rose” but I’d call it a pinked-mauve shade that’s a little more purple and a little less pink than other similar shades that I own. I think it would be a flattering shade on a variety of skin tones.
The lipstick is creamyish, goes on smoothly, applies in one swipe, and has a satin finish. It’s lightweight and feels hydrating on my lips. it’s a very comfortable lipstick. It lasts for 4 hours or so before fading on my lips, and even when faded, it leaves some color behind. It does come off somewhat while drinking and eating.
It looks rosier in the sun
and more mauve in the shade. Here I am wearing it under both conditions.
Zoya’s lipstick collection comes in 13 shades from nudes to pinks to reds to plums and purples. The lipstick is priced at $12 on the Zoya website. I think it’s well worth the price.

Kim, Zoya Paisley really is a lovely neutral shade, the kind I like to wear most of the time. Take a look at Kristina’s swatches and lip swatches of the entire 13 shade collection. She really could be a lip model, and you can get a good sense of each of the shades including the nudes.
It’s slightly sheerer than I like my lip products to be but it’s a beautiful everyday shade, Allison!

Shireen, I would say it was my less than perfect single swipe application of Paisley that made it look a little sheer. Precision isn’t my middle name, unfortunately. Definitely check out Kristina’s swatches of Paisley and the entire collection through the link in my post. It’s a very pigmented line, and the shades are gorgeous.
