Ulta: 21 Days of Beauty in March

March is finally here, and starting on March 10 till the end of the month, Ulta will be hosting 21 Days of beauty demonstrations and how-to’s as well as sales on specific days for specific products. Below is a screen shot of part of the calendar, but check out the whole thing at http://www.ulta.com/21days/.

The stores will be hosting representatives from a number of beauty’s best known brands who will be showing customers tips and tricks on how to apply foundation, how to create different eye makeup looks, etc. Check with your local Ulta to confirm which demos they’ll be hosting. Also, local Ulta stores will be putting on their own demos if the brand representatives won’t be in their store. Sounds like a good opportunity to get some hands-on advice on perfecting your look or trying out a new look.

Consult Ulta’s calendar to find out which products will be on sale on which days. Three different premium mascaras will be on sale for $10 (just about half price), but on different days: Tarte: Tuesday 3/12, Bare Minerals: Saturday 3/23, and Smashbox: Saturday 3/30. I plan to take advantage of the sale on Too Faced Natural Palette for $22, regular price $39, on Friday 3/29. Just about all the featured products are between 40-50% off regular prices.

I think it’s worth it to take a trip to the store to see what’s happening and what I can learn. But Ulta always has free shipping for purchases over $25. Finally, Ulta often has coupons that you can find online, usually $3.50 off $10 or $10 off $60, so google Ulta coupons before you head to the store.

  1. Thanks for the heads-up, Allison! Hope I can score a few deals at Ulta. Also wanted to thank you for blogging about the Urban Decay coupon earlier… I used it to try the new Naked Basics palette plus a couple other goodies! I’d given up on wearing eye shadow until I discovered UD, but I love theirs! Beautiful shades that go on easily, blend easily, and stay on. I also have the original Naked, and it’s fabulous. Didn’t think I could wear “shimmer” on my eyes until Naked.

    1. You’re welcome, Kim! Glad to know that this kind of content is useful. And glad you discovered an eyeshadow that works for you. I’ve gotta try UD’s new ones. I stocked up on their cream shadow in a tube before it was discontinued but I should give the new Nakeds a try.
