I have a number of favorite mascaras, and I usually prefer a smallish wand with plastic teeth. So when I received PUR Fully Charged Mascara, I was dubious.
PUR Fully Charged got its name because it uses magnetic technology to create dramatic lashes. The folks at PUR say that the mascara’s “magnetic polymer matrix veils the lashes for maximized all day lift, volume and curl. Plus the revolutionary formula helps strengthen lashes for reduced fallout.”
I’m still not exactly sure how that magnetic thing works, but in all honesty, this mascara definitely works for me.
Once you open the tube, you see that PUR Fully Charged Mascara has a huge brush with a lot of bristles.
The formula is more wet than dry. I always make sure there isn’t a glob of mascara at the tip.
I don’t apply mascara like most normal humans. I turn the wand a million different ways depending on what each individual lash needs. Because this is a thicker formula and it definitely adds volume as well as length to my blonde, invisible lashes, I do have to go over some areas on occasion (not always) where my lashes are closer together to make sure they don’t stick together. It may take me a few minutes longer to use this mascara than some others, but the result is definitely worth it IMHO. My lashes are looooong and full-looking.
I’ve been using this mascara almost every day for a couple of weeks. I haven’t had any fallout or flaking. I always curl my straight lashes before using any mascara, and PUR Fully Charged Mascara keeps the curl all day. I’m impressed with this mascara. As I said earlier, it works for me!

I’m still testing this out. Since I have major allergies lately, my eyes do not like having anything on them.

I’m glad that you’re having good results too, Brooke. I’ve seen some less positive results than I got, but I have pretty much no complaints. I think my lashes look more volumized with PUR Fully Charged than with IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara that gives me great length but not so much in the way of volume.
I’m still planning to put up a review, but this hasn’t been working to well for me…but most mascaras don’t!
I’m sorry that it doesn’t work so well for you. Let the formula thicken for a couple of weeks, and give it another try. Who knows?
