I love masks and scrubs. I think they make a big difference in the look and feel of my skin. Removing dead skin cells at the end of the summer is a necessity for me. Skincare products work so much better if they are applied to smooth skin.
Lately, I’ve been using Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub with Citrus Oil and Dead Sea Salt.
The scrub that comes in a heavy glass jar is a gel cream that’s very light lavender in color. The consistency reminds me of the Noxzema I used to use as a teen. It’s kind of solid but kind of fluffy at the same time!
I apply a small amount to clean but wet skin. Then I massage it in circles on my face for about a minute, avoiding my eye area. The Dead Sea salt feels a bit sharp but in a good way for me. Then I rinse it off with cool water, and I’m good to go. My skin feels clean, smooth and refreshed. It has a nice glow. Importantly, my skin is ready for my skincare products: toning mist, essence, serum, and moisturizer!
The directions suggest using Microdermabrasion Scrub twice a week. My skin is a bit sensitive, but I am still able to use it once or twice a week without any issues. If your skin is sensitive, it may be a little sharp for use on your face. But Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub can also be used on elbows, knees and feet!
Although Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub contains citrus oil for brightening, it doesn’t have a strong citrus scent. In fact, it doesn’t have much of a scent at all in case you are sensitive to scents.

I pretty much have stopped using physical scrubs except one as I found them to be too harsh on my skin these days. I do still use my Olay Pro-X which I swear by but other than that, it’s all chemical exfoliators for me.

We definitely have to listen to our skin and do what’s right for it. I am lucky that I can alternate between physical and chemical exfoliators. Sometimes I just like the feeling of massaging a physical scrub. I do like chemical exfoliators because they seem like magic: SkinInc and The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel are my faves.
Morning……☀️🌺 This scrub sounds so nice. I think exfoliating ones skin is important as it does get rid of build-up on the skin. I will be trying this one for sure. Right now my go to exfoliator is Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. I really like this, it is gentle enough to use everyday. I use it alone in the morning. Exfoliates in a really gentle way. Leaves your face so clean and smooth feeling. 🙋🏻
This affordable cruelty-free scrub from Derma E is definitely one to keep in mind. I also have the Tatcha Classic Rice Enzyme Powder in both the regular and sensitive versions. I find they are both so gentle that I think of them more as cleansers, and like you, I often use one of them everyday.
I tend to stay away from physical scrubs because they are harsh on my skin. That said, I use my chemical exfoliation regularly.

I love this scrub. I also use it as a mask, leave it on for ten mins, then gently scrub after. I love all derma E products I have tried so far

My skin loves sea salt scrubs – I used to use the one from Lush, I’m blanking on the name! I have to look for this next time I need a scrub, because I think my skin would respond well!

The combination of citrus oil and Dead Sea Salt is quite enticing. I like using a physical exfoliator in conjunction with chemical ones in the course of the week. Nice to mix things up. There was something that I wanted to look at at LUSH that is supposed to smell amazing, but I can’t remember what it is!
I think Lisa has this scrub. Sometimes DermaE is too fragranced for me but this product sounds like something I could use. I used up one of the scrubs a long time ago but it might be the same one just different packaging.
The Microdermabrasion Scrub doesn’t have much of a scent. I thought it might smell like citrus because of the citrus oil in the ingredient list, but I can’t smell citrus or anything actually. I don’t believe that it’s a brand new product, so you may have tried it or a version of it in the past.
I used to love this scrub but lately my skin has been too sensitive so I wasn’t able to use it. I found a very loving home for mine!

Sounds like an interesting product. I don’t use microdermabrasion products because they’re too intense for my skin, but I’m glad you’re loving it!
