Turmeric is in everything these days including a new mask from natural skincare brand, Farmhouse Fresh. Don’t get me wrong, I like turmeric, and because it’s been shown to contain lots of antioxidants, I often sprinkle it on roasted vegetables and seek out recipes that use it.
But IMO the best part of the new Mighty Mighty Turmeric & Banana Tightening Mask from Farmhouse Fresh is the banana! I adore bananas, and that ingredient alone was my impetus for trying the mask. It smells divine, like the batter for banana bread! The mousse-like mask even looks like the mashed bananas that I put into my banana bread recipe. It’s almost good enough to eat. But I’ll stick with it on my face rather than in it.
Mighty Tighty Mask was developed for dull, aging or skin with an uneven skin tone. Turmerones, extracted from turmeric oil taken from the root of the turmeric plant, are loaded with antioxidants that fight damage from free radicals. Banana pulp and peel contain provitamin A, carontenoids and phenolics (with antioxidant and antimicrobial properties) that promote healthy skin growth and repair. The mask also contains nourishing echinacea. This tightening mask sets about to help fade uneven skin tone and diminish lines.
I apply the thick, creamy mask either with my fingers or with a brush. I find that a little goes a long way. After a short while, the mask tingles a bit, though not as much as the description said it would, and that’s fine with me. Next, the mask begins to tighten. With pumice and three different types of clay, Mighty Tighty Mask may be the king of tightening masks. You can forget talking or moving your face once the tightening takes hold, lol. In fact, if I apply enough, all my lines and wrinkles disappear – at least while I’m wearing the mask! I rinse it off with tepid water, and my skin is super smooth!
For me with semi-sensitive dry skin, Mighty Mighty is a mask that I can use once a week or once every two weeks if my skin is especially dry. For someone with my skin type, I would describe this mask as strong. While not for those with sensitive skin, if you have normal, combination or oily non-sensitive skin and you’re looking for a yummy skin pick-me-up, then Mighty Tighty Turmeric & Banana Tightening Mask may be perfect for you! Following it up with a rich or calming night cream is a fitting next step.

I have tried a home made mask with banana in it but nothing like this. I have been really into tumeric lately though so much that I take it in daily capsules now so this mask is very intriguing to me.

I was thinking that I could use a silicone brush like the ones I buy for applying BBQ sauce or marinade, but the beauty brushes look more appropriate for the task. Thank you!

After I used this the first time I went to a market that makes a delicious chocolate chip banana loaf but they were out of it. I still need to buy one – for the sake of pictures, don’t you think?? Since I use other masks this one is good twice a month for me. The smell is wonderful.

Yes, I think the FHF Mighty Tighty Turmeric & Banana Mask is a better choice for those without sensitive skin and for those with skin that’s a bit oily. Those 3 clays can be a bit drying. But FHF has so many delightful natural masks that there’s at least one great choice, if not more, for everyone
