Vitamin C infused skincare is a regular part of my daytime skincare regimen, and it has been for years. While Vitamin C can’t get rid of the true sun damage that I have on the left side of my face, it has succeeded in making my cute freckles disappear, lol. And it definitely makes my skin look brighter and more alive.

In spite of trying about a million Vitamin C serums, I would say that Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum is my favorite. Although the amount of Vitamin C in Derma E’s serum is less than 15%, I can wear it comfortably and it still does a good job for my skin. Recently, I received the Beauty Stat Vitamin C duo (serum and eye cream) and I was trying them out. Sadly, the 20% C in the Beauty Stat Vitamin C Skin Treat literally makes my skin feel like it’s burning. I have tried using it every couple of days to try to get used to wearing it, but it still hurts. I’ll stick with Derma E.
The Derma E Vitamin C collection is formulated with:
- stabilized Vitamin C for a more even skin tone as well as for radiance
- Hyaluronic Acid to help skin attract and retain moisture
- probiotics to help balance skin
- antioxidant vitamins and botanicals to help skin defend itself from environmental stressors like pollution, blue light rays etc.
So over the past couple of years, Derma E has added to their Vitamin C collection. And Derma E was generous to send me two new products that I will be trying out:
Both products contain turmeric which contains antioxidants and helps lighten dark spots.
The eye cream also contains caffeine to help reduce dark circles under eyes. The Vitamin C face oil also contains Seabuckthorn and Red Raspberry to nourish, brighten and give skin a nice glow.
I will review these two new-to-me skincare products in the coming weeks after I have had a chance to really try them out.

Faith, I just started using the Derma E Vit C No Dark Circles Eye Cream, and it reminds me so much of the brightening eye cream I used to use from Shiseido that has been discontinued. The cream is a bright off white/beige and it immediately camouflages dark circles. I can’t say how it will work long term, but I love the immediate result! Thanks for entering and good luck!
Hi Allison, I am excited try these products. Love vitamin c for the face and the sea buckthorn intrigues me as I like that ingredient. Will be interested to see how the caffeinated eye treatment stacks up against a more expensive one I recently purchased.

I love trying new products. I have heard of this company, but never got the chance to try them out. (tight on money) I saw a product that says it helps lighten dark spots I’d love to try that and see how well these products are for myself and my family.

I really like Derma E’s Overnight Peel but have never tried anything from their new Vitamin C line. I’d like to try it in my never ending battle with hyperpigmentation.
As I’ve mentioned before, vitamin C definitely can help with some hyperpigmentation though not all. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth trying. Thanks for mentioning the Derma E Overnight Peel. I am faithful to my skincare routine and have a vitamin c serum however I don’t know why I forget to use it consistently, especially knowing all its benefits.
