Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation

I’m a big fan of Ageless Derma’s products. They are research-based, and they contain natural and state-of-the-art ingredients. I use several products in the skincare line, and I like them a lot. So I was excited to try the Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation.

I admit it, I’ve been wearing BB or CC cream for a few months now because the one-step was easy for the summer. But I was eager to get back to the look and feel of mineral foundation, and eager to try Ageless Derma Mineral Foundation.

To start off, I washed my face, applied moisturizer and primer. I used the Bare Minerals primer that I have on hand as well as my Bare MInerals brushes.

The shade of Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation that I tried is called Barely There. It’s a shade that I would describe as being for Fair to Light skin. In fact, it may be the lightest shade in the range. I was concerned that it might be too light for me, but it was perfect. I started off with my maximum coverage concealer brush, and I painted away my dark spots. I forgot how wonderful it is to cover those darn spots with mineral foundation. The Ageless Derma Mineral Foundation does such a great job with that: all gone! And unlike liquid/cream foundations or BB/CC cream, the dark spots stay covered till I remove the foundation.

Next, I used my full flawless face brush and applied the foundation to the rest of my face. I was amazed at how little I needed on the brush to get complete coverage. And I also forgot how much I like the matte coverage that I get from mineral foundation. I love how soft and silky it feels on my skin!

I just looked in the mirror. It’s been more than 9 hours since I applied the Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation. A few hours ago, I jogged a couple of miles on the treadmill. Amazingly, my dark spots are still invisible, and the foundation is still in place. Love it!

Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation contains vitamins A, E, and green tea extracts. So in addition to the anti-inflammatory natural minerals that are both great for sensitive skin and provide broad sun protection without chemicals, this loose mineral makeup is anti-aging, with anti-oxidant ingredients to help prevent wrinkles. Importantly, Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation is parabens-free.

Here’s a video with more detailed information:

Ageless Derma comes in 10 shades that will work for skin tones from fair to dark. I think that’s great because so many brands have only a few shades, and many brands don’t include shades for darker skin.  It’s made in the U.S. It’s not tested on animals. And Ageless Derma Loose Mineral Foundation is priced at $25 for 0.25 oz./7 g. But I noticed that if you order from agelessderma.com, you can get 20% off by entering the code BEAUTY at checkout, so $20 and free shipping. Can’t beat that. 🙂

    1. You are too funny! For me too: I have to put on moisturizer, and eye cream (I didn’t put on enough as you could see in the pix), and primer…but once I did, the mineral foundation did go on very nicely lol! I’ve gotta check out the face primer you used. I’m not familiar with that brand 😉

    1. I would say that they are quite similar in terms of coverage, lastingness. Also, probably in shade range. Where AD has the edge for me is that it contains anti-oxidants that have anti-aging properties. So in addition to giving a nice look and covering up my sun damage, I’m hoping it’s doing my skin some good at the same time.
