Rose Inc. Cream Blush Divine

I Bought This, Affiliate Links

During 2022, Rose Inc., a simple, essential, neutral, clean beauty, United Kingdom makeup brand launched. It was created by model Rosie Huntington-Whylie and the biotech company, Amyris.

I heard that it had a cream blush, so I decided I would try it during the holiday season. I bought a few items as well as a couple of samples, and I will share the others with you another time.

Rose Inc. Blush Divine

One of the nice things about Rose Inc. is that the packaging is refillable. Though I seldom use up a blush, it still seemed like a good idea that you can replace it if you like.

There are 12 shades of Blush Divine that can be used as either blush or lip color:

  • Hydrangea: light cool pink
  • Wisteria: coral pink
  • Anemone: coral
  • Heliotrope: apricot
  • Delphine: muted peach
  • Daylily: rich taupe
  • Foxglove: warm terracotta
  • Ophelia: true pink
  • Camellia: mauve
  • Hibiscus: bright plum
  • Azalea: berry (the founder, Rosie’s fave)
  • Dahlia: deep berry

I don’t really remember how I chose Hydrangea, but after the fact, I used the camera/Shade Finder and it was easy to use.

Rose Inc. did a small scale study (33 respondents, age 18-66) where they had the respondents try out the Blush Divine. They tested it immediately in terms of how soft and smooth it looked, after 8 hours, and after 12-24 hours. The results included:

  • 90% SAY IT GIVES A HEALTHY LOOKING GLOW**
  • 86% SAY SKIN INSTANTLY LOOKS SMOOTHER AND SOFTER**
  • LONGWEARING**
  • MOISTURIZES UP TO 24 HOURS*

To be honest, I decided to try it because it looked attractive and I love cream blush. Most likely, I won’t use it as lip color.

What Is the Blush Compact Like?

First, the blush compact is simple but useful. Inside is a regular mirror that is just the right size. It’s a bit thick, but it’s fine: I don’t carry it with me. I think if I did, it might take up a little too much room inside my purse.

Beneath the round blush are two or possibly four holes. I believe that you use a pin to poke out the old blush once it’s finished and pop in the new one.

How Did Rose Inc. Blush Divine Work On Me?

Rose Inc. Cream Blush is a medium weight, highly pigmented blush that spreads quite easily with a finger. Or you can use a makeup brush or a sponge. You can build the blush up till you get it to be the color intensity that you like.

My skin is dry, especially in the winter, and Rose Inc. says that Cream Blush is ideal for dull and dry skin because it contains Squalane, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid. And I have found that they are right!

Although I chose Hydrangea, a light cool pink that is most likely the palest of the 12 shades, I find it to make my skin look healthy, soft and smooth, just as the study showed. I’ve been rather surprised that the blush stayed on for quite a long time. It’s fairly rare that I keep blush on longer than 8 hours, but it does seem to last a long time. So far, I am pleased with Rose Inc. Blush Divine.

Size, Where To Buy It And Price

The Rose Inc. Blush Divine holds 4.5 g or 0.05 oz. of blush (though it seems even thicker), and the compact with blush is priced at $32. As I mentioned, I bought it during the holidays when it was on sale for 30% off so it didn’t seem overly expensive to me.

Rose Inc. is sold on the brand’s website, at Sephora and at Space NK.

  1. I took advantage of their 30% off sale too and bought 2 brushes (eye shadow and blush brush) and a mini mascara. I’m definitely happy with my purchase. As a big cream blush fan myself I’ll have to look into these.
