Thrive Causemetics Eye Lift 360 Degrees Waterproof Primer

I’ve been trying more and more makeup and skincare products from Thrive Causemetics. Over the past couple of years, I’ve bought a bunch of products to try that I’ve reviewed (the fabulous lengthening mascara and the brow gel that I still haven’t reviewed yet) as well as some products that Thrive sent me for review. As I mentioned, their new skincare sub-brand Bigger Than Beauty makes my current favorite eye cream! Here’s another Thrive product that you need to know about.

Thrive Eye Lift 360 Degree Waterproof Primer

Thrive Eye Lift 360 Waterproof Primer is a nude with a slight sparkle, translucent gel that becomes invisible on the lid. This is what it looks like on my hand before it’s blended in.

Thrive Eye Primer comes in a tube.

It is applied with an applicator, and it’s easy to apply. It dries down in an instant, and the subtle sparkle disappears.

Since I have dry eyelids, I can’t say how it would work for those with oily lids. It gives my dry eyelids a bit of moisture and an amazing smoothness that may be due to the dimethicone in the formula.

In addition to making eye shadow crease-proof and long-lasting, Thrive Eye Lift was created to intensify the color of eyeshadow. I think it is a subtle intensification rather than the dazzling intensification that I get with Anastasia Eye Primer that is bright white on my eyelids (though it can be harder to apply).

Another benefit of Thrive Eye Lift is that it can also be used under the eye to lock down concealer as well as preventing concealer from creasing. Great idea!

Additional benefits include:

  • Powered by Eye Revive Complex™ to support skin’s natural collagen + elastin production while smoothing + reducing the appearance of fine lines.
  • 100% of participants agreed that Eye Lift 360° Waterproof Primer™ prevented their eye product from creasing on their eyelids.
  • Dermatologist + ophthalmologist tested

The skincare benefit from the Eye Revive Complex that helps increase collagen and elastin production is a wonderful addition. Plus, I am always concerned about putting eyeshadow on my eye above the crease because of my less than smooth skin, but Thrive Eye Lift Primer does make a difference!

Here I am wearing Thrive Eye Lift 360 Degree Waterproof Eye Primer as well as Thrive Lash Extensions Mascara:

Although I prefer an eye primer without an applicator, if you are in the market for a new eye primer, Thrive Eye Lift 360 Waterproof Primer is a really good one to consider. It’s sold only on the Thrive Causemetics website and priced at $25 for 0.27 oz./8 ml. Like all of their products, Thrive Eye Primer is cruelty-free, vegan, and free of:

  • Parabens
  • Sulfates
  • Phthalates
  • Synthetic Fragrance

Ingredients: ISODODECANE, TALC, MICA, TRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, C13-14 ALKANE, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED WAX, TRIHYDROXYSTEARIN, HYDROXYSTEARIC/LINOLENIC/OLEIC POLYGLYCERIDES, C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE, TRIETHYLHEXANOIN, SORBITAN SESQUIOLEATE, CALCIUM CARBONATE, VP/EICOSENE COPOLYMER, PROPYLENE CARBONATE, SYNTHETIC BEESWAX, DIMETHICONE, PEG-40 STEARATE, SORBITAN LAURATE, CAFFEINE, PALMITOYL TRIPEPTIDE-1, PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-7, HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID, TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA (LICORICE) ROOT EXTRACT, C18-36 ACID GLYCOL ESTER, C18-36 ACID TRIGLYCERIDE, PHENOXYETHANOL, [+/- IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE (CI 77163), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891)].

    1. Kim, I’m not sure that it is made any longer. It’s a Cream Liquid Metallic Lipstick from Sephora Collection. The shade, a copper metallic, is #30, but there’s no name on the label or tube. I went to their website, and they have 73 shades of Cream Liquid Matte Lipstick, and this shade isn’t one of them. Boo!

    1. Thrive Eye Lift Primer is a terrific eye primer because it has so many benefits like eye skincare ingredients and shade enhancement! It’s especially terrific for those with oily lids and under eye areas.

    1. Thrive makes good stuff, and the eye primer is one of them. Although I don’t love using an applicator, I just dot it on my lid and pat it on with my finger. My problem solved!

  1. Now I have something to add to my growing Thrive list. I’m always looking at eye primers. I’d like just that little bit of sparkle.
